Natalie winced slightly at the sound of Lexi's voice in her ears.
"You wanna make me deaf, right?" She glared at her friend.
Lexi shrugged. "I've been asking you some questions but you weren't listening. Where is your mind?"

He knew he had promised not to call her because she went to see a counselor but he just couldn't help himself.He picked up his phone and dialed her number, it rang but there was no response.
