Athena's eyes opened little by little, and she sat up in bed, sore. The first thing that invaded her was a headache, the light coming in through the window being unbearable to her sight. She yawned, fatigued, and at the same time physically destroyed.

Her hip hurt too much, as did her crotch. Her neck burned, and so did parts of her skin. She was full of marks, not only those made by Valentino last night, but also by Lenox, with whom she had been before. Her insides throbbed with pain, and although last night she only felt pleasure, today it was taking its toll.

She moved the sheet that covered her body, seeing the red bruises on her skin. Painted fingers and bites that throbbed with a burning sensation.
