12 A Dragon's Foe

A few minutes later, Ao Shun opened the door. The people who had meant to help, stood in awe and then began dropping, like dominoes, to their knees in reverence. They also had seen the light coming from inside and knew he was not a normal human but otherworldly.

Scrambling, the people ran off in numerous directions to gather the items demanded of them. Ao Shun stepped closer to Jin An, holding his hands towards the child. She smiled, passing the sleeping boy to him.
