After I was done talking with Ken and he had agreed to do exactly as I had told him to, I left his room, heading to Julia's.

I knew she would be asleep already, but I still felt the need to talk to her that night and not the next day.

" Maya, what are you doing here? " She asked as she came to open the door, rubbing her sleepy eyes. I entered the room without saying anything, sitting on the sofa.

" I came to talk to you, " I answered, raising my head to look at her.

" Tonight? Can't you wait till tomorrow morning? It's pretty late and everyone is fast asleep, so let's just talk tomorrow morning, " she suggested, but I shook my head, not willing to listen to her.

" I need to talk to you tonight, I might not have the chance to do that tomorrow morning. You should sit down and listen to me, I won't take much of your time, " I promised and she heaved out a sigh before sitting on the bed.
