He told me that he would do so immediately when he was done. I watched as he went to the kitchen and after a few minutes, he came back with a tray containing a cup of tea and some snacks. He helped me up and placed the tray gently in front of me. I smiled at him as I took the snacks, ate some and also drank the tea. He opened my bag and brought out the drugs that had been prescribed to me.

It wasn't until he saw that I was on the bed, safe and well fed did he leave to go back to the palace. I waved at him and then he told me that he would come back very soon to check up on me.

I blushed when he left as I thought about how he had cared. His worried expression was very different from the look he had on his face when he had been fighting with the rogues.
