Chapter 31 - After the break up

Matteo POV

“Because you were easy”, I let out, I feel my heart beating so fast that I can almost swear that Avery can hear it beating. She is looking at me with so much pain in her eyes that is breaking my dark heart. I never thought this would ever happen to me, that I would fall for someone and then have to dump them.

Avery looks at me with her arms crossed before she starts talking. “You know what Matteo? You think you are so special, but you are nothing but an insecure little shit. You think that playing with my feelings makes you better than me, you think that telling me to go away after making me believe I was special makes you the biggest bad ass of New York. But it doesn’t. It makes you weak. You are a sad little boy. Fuck you Matteo”, she says right before she opens the bedroom door and walks out of my house and my life forever.
