Chapter Twenty

Nadia stared at her younger brother in silence as he gulped down a couple more shots.

"Do you intend to get drunk here or you gonna get up and do what you ought to do?"

"This will only take off your pain for a while you know?"

"Instead of doing a face-to-face apology, can't I apologize over the phone? Or I can tell Cynthia to send a note along with flowers or chocolates or what is it that you women like?"

"You are now scared of Nancy?"

"Why will I be scared of her? Her presence has caused so much harm and I really do not intend to do anything that will cause further problems."

"You're afraid you will want to have sex with her?"

"Oh, God, Nadia!"

"What? I'm only asking a question. Because I see no reason why you are finding it so hard to approach her."

"Just try to do it in person. Sending flowers along with written notes and chocolates may portray something else to her especially when you claim you've got no feelings for her. Well, except you truly like her and you're not telling me t
