Yorick

The rest of the week went by without any problems and once I knew Cyra was completely healed, I showed her how happy I was that she was healthy again.

Over the weekend, we slept in, let our wolves run together, studied together, ate together, and had sex. A lot. It was amazing. I know I’m here to become in incredible warrior, we both are, but it’s a lot easier to work hard when you get to play hard too.

I almost dread Sunday night, knowing we’ll have to go back to classes tomorrow. Almost. I’ve been skimming through our books for this semester and I’m still hopeful that something in all of this will give me the information I need to help Cyra break her alliance bond.

On our way back from dinner, I check my mail, seeing a letter from Wendy. It reminds me that I got an email from her over the weekend that I haven’t read yet.

“Oh shit,” I say.

“What?” Cyra asks, looking at the letter in my hand.

“Wendy wrote me twice. That means I’m going to have to write her back.”

Cyra laughs. “I

Wendy needs something to distract her by giving her purpose. I like how she found out that Crya comes from a eastern pack. Her father lost her mom in childbirth but they were chosen mates not fated ones. Could that have played into his decision for a alliance bond?

I think giving Wendy something to distract her from Henry will be helpful to her, but I really hope Henry is her mate. Maybe one of their friends/classmates can be that Alpha from the contract’s mate.

I hope Henry come and see him and Cyra I hate to say it but I hope their friend is his mate and the one nicknames them is her mate it be cool I hope that he finds away out for Cyra but he may have to challenge the Alpha unless he is mated to his sister that would be bad if he is not a good guy .

CyraEven though I know the area isn’t cleared out the way we would like, when Beta Lewis and Gamma Elliot returned to our pack later that afternoon, covered in dirt, sweat, and grass, they assured me that the area had been sufficiently cleared. Neither of them seemed particularly pleased with Gamma Hugo which I found interesting. I’ll have to talk to Warren about our plan to assess him and his position.Because Yorick didn’t have a chance to get the patrol schedules set up, I sent a group of warriors with the omegas from our pack and coordinated with Beta Eric on the other side to send warriors with his omegas to set up the food. Eric said he has some ideas to make the area look festive, which is good, since we don’t have electricity out there yet.I intended to arrive early and help with the final set up, making sure that everything was in order, but when we arrived, Beta Eric was already there. He had the warriors start a large bonfire in the center of the space that had been clear

YorickWith the addition of a second pack, I feel even stronger than I did before. The buzzing in my mind, the connection to our pack members is also stronger. I hope that feeling of connection will continue to improve and strengthen as our pack gets stronger. I’ll be interested to see how I feel tomorrow after our gathering tonight.Because I have more strength, I enjoyed my mate before we fell asleep last night and then woke her up again this morning to have her again. It’s the best possible way to start and end my day. After another fun morning of warrior training, we sat down for breakfast. We talked about tonight and decided to send Beta Lewis and Gamma Elliot from this pack, and Gamma Hugo from the other pack to find and start preparing a space for tonight’s event. Cyra and I agreed that while we’d like Beta Eric to also be a part of that, we need him to be in the other pack making sure the pack members there don’t have any problems with all the changes happening. We had just fin

CyraSince Quirin and Kennedy are planning to head home after they make their announcement, we drive two cars to Christer’s old pack. I guess it’s our pack now, or it will be by the time we return to our ‘other’ pack tonight.“How are you feeling about everything Cyra?” Warren asks me. He and Yorick are sitting in the front while I chose to sit in the back. I’m behind Warren, so when I look up, I meet his eyes in the rearview mirror.Yorick turns to look at me, reaching out to put a hand on my knee.“There’s just so much to do,” I say. “It was already a lot, but now, with another pack, adding pack lands, increasing patrols ...” I stop, getting overwhelmed with everything that still needs to be done.“It will all get done. We didn’t have time to sit down today to go over the finances, but you still have two more days, and you aren’t the only Alpha in your pack. Yorick can work on patrols along with your father’s Beta and Gamma, if you trust them. Yara can help us plan the gathering of t

Yorick“Yorick, sweetheart, can you please disengage from Cyra so we can finish our conversation. Then the two of you can continue,” my mother’s voice says from somewhere behind me.I’ve gotten totally lost in kissing my mate. I forgot we were still in the pack hospital.I reluctantly pull away from my mate, who is quickly turning a bright shade of pink.“Sorry, Luna,” she murmurs.“Never apologize for loving your mate, especially when that mate is my son. I am well aware of the ‘passion’ of the Hill men,” mom says, making me chuckle and Cyra blush an even deeper shade of pink.“I have your results. First, your hormone levels are back to normal, meaning you definitely were given a placebo. I’m guessing the hormones from your previous implant lasted just long enough for me to confirm your negative pregnancy test,” she says.I feel the same wave of disappointment in Cyra that I’m feeling. I was excited to start a family with my mate, even if it would be difficult for the next year.“Now,

  • The Pack's Alpha   Chapter 75: Sparring with Quirin

PiperI’m not sure I like the excited, almost maniacal grin on Alpha Quirin’s face when he walks out rubbing his hands together.“Alright! Let’s see what they’re teaching you Academy brats these days,” he says. “Kennedy says I’m not supposed to put you in the hospital, but since she AND Luna Yara are here, I feel confident that any damage I do can be undone.”Word spread quickly that we wanted to spar with Alpha Quirin and since everyone heard about what happened to Alpha Christer yesterday, most, if not all, of the pack warriors not currently on patrol, are here to watch.“So, how do you want to do this? Do you want me to take on all four of you at once?” he asks.I frown.“No. Then we wouldn’t be able to tell how we do individually against you,” Zach says and the rest of us agree.“Okay, who’s first?” he asks.“You choose,” Chase says.He looks the four of us over quickly then points to me. “Piper.”Of course he picked me. I thought that maybe he’d be different than other Alphas and

  • The Pack's Alpha   Chapter 74: Confrontation

YorickI can feel that Cyra wants to take the lead, so I sit back.“When Alpha Stellan came to the Academy to force his mark on me, he made a comment about putting a pup in me at the same time,” she begins and Dr. Walker snorts.“Well, that would have been impossible. You are on birth control. I thought he knew that.”“He said he replaced it with a placebo,” she says.“Impossible, I did the injections. How could he have ... son of a bitch,” he snarls, standing up. I’m up and standing between him and my mother and mate in an instant. He jolts, looking at me, then looking behind me. “You think I did it?” he asks.“Did you?” I growl. He scrubs his face with his hands. “We’ve had an influx of unwanted pregnancies in the pack lately. I’ve been trying to figure out why it keeps happening. With younger mothers, it isn’t as big of a deal, but with the older she-wolves, the ones who have already had their pups, it has put them at higher risk. I have several she-wolves right now that are borderl
