NAYA CROWLEY
"We can't be mates. There's no way in hell I'll settle for a thing like you." He said as he started walking around me. Stormie was pacing around me in a small circle. He was so close to me that I could smell the cologne he used along with the faint yet undeniable scent of lavender that plagued my senses since finding out he was my mate. Then a thought came to me. He didn't want me and I sure as hell didn't want him either so what if I got him to reject me as his mate here and now? It was worth trying. "Then reject me," I said keeping my head down. I was hiding my expression from him for a reason. There was suddenly a gleam of hope in my eyes for the first time. He stopped abruptly. Samantha was still taking forever to get dressed while she watched what was happening with keen interest. "Naya Crowley of the Red Sentinel Pack, I, Stormy West, the future Alpha of the Twilight Pack, hereby reject you as my mate!" He said. I looked up that minute with a grin on my face. Finally, I was free of the obnoxious bastard. "Thank you for that." I could see the disbelief on his face just a split second before it was quickly replaced by a smirk. He must have thought I would feel bad that I had been rejected by the future Alpha of their damned pack but the truth was that I didn't give two fucks about any of that. I was just so glad that I had finally gotten my freedom from him. "Is that all?" I asked with a new sense of pride coming over me. I was bare ass naked standing there in front of him as vulnerable as I can be but that wasn't going to stop me from standing up to the bully with my head held up high. I just had to be careful to do it as subtle as I can to avoid getting into too much trouble. "Get out of here. You disgust me." He turned away heading into the bathroom to wash up. I bowed just as I was meant to then pick up my clothes and wore them as fast as I could put my undies into my pocket. When I was done cleaning the toilet and washing up, I would surely get my undies back to their rightful position. "Make sure to report back this evening for your punishment. Is that clear!" He yelled over the sound of the shower. "Yes, sir," I responded raising my voice just enough for him to hear it. I was about to grab the mop and bucket to walk out when Samantha jumped over the bed and closed the distance between us. I knew it was too good to be true for me to walk away from the room just like that without any final incident. "Stay away from Stormie. He's mine." She whispered to me. "Yes ma'am," I responded bowing. I turned around with my pieces of equipment and left the chamber as fast as I could. I was glad for the opportunity to finally be free in the fresh air of the palace blowing over my skin. It took me less than an hour to clean up the toilets all around the palace. I went back to my room fully exhausted and craving an amount of rest that would give my soul nothing but peace. I tore off my work clothes and walked into the shower installed in my empty cold room. I stayed longer than I would normally, making sure to allow the water to move over me in gentle little waves. I got out and wore a fresh set of undies along with the afternoon uniform. I would wash the one I just got out of very well after completing my afternoon rounds. I would make sure to scrub every reminder of Stormie out from the fabrics while making sure I don't tear it in the process. "Maybe now that he rejected you, we won't have to feel that pain anytime he shoves his dick into another woman." my wolf said to me. She sounded just as glad as I was. I hoped the pain would be over along with the stupid scent of lavender associated with him. I was just about to take a quick nap when the door to my room burst open as if a mighty demon had just come to claim my soul. I jerked up in a panic to see three soldiers rush in, along with them was Stormie's sister, Milly. Confusion appeared on my face. Why would Milly burst into my room with soldiers? I was sure during our brief uneventful meeting in the morning I had been careful enough not to step out of line. So what exactly was going on here? Behind them, Samantha walked in taking her place beside Milly with a half smirk hidden on her face. "Tear the place apart boys. She stole my gold necklace from Stormie's chambers."The group nodded their agreement, their faces alight with excitement. But even as they made plans for the celebration, a sense of unease lingered in the air.For there were whispers among the people of the Twilight packs, rumors of darkness that threatened to engulf them all. And as the celebration drew near, those whispers grew louder, the sense of foreboding more palpable. But for now, the group pushed those thoughts aside, focusing instead on the joyous occasion ahead. As the festivities in honor of Lady Naya's recovery drew near, there was a sense of excitement and anticipation that filled the air. The people of the Twilight packs were in high spirits, eager to celebrate the recovery of their beloved Lady Naya, but at the main time, it's only the King and his advisors were present for the mini party. The main event will be at the arena. King Stormie was amazed by her sudden sickness of Naya, and he never expected that kind of fever in her, but the only problem is that he didn't care to check up on Naya after the day she fought Julia during the Twilight Combat Game.He then decided to ask the physician a little question as he's been worried about the sickness of Naya.As the physician was trying to leave the palace, he had to call him back.Wait a minute! I'm been troubled at the moment.King Stormie looked at the physician with concern etched on his face. "What kind of fever is that?" he asked. The physician looked up from his notes and met the king's gaze. "It's a high fever, Your Highness," he replied. "It's most likely caused by the bruises she sustained during the combat game."King Stormie's heart sank at the news. He had watched the game and had seen how brutally the warrior had fought. He had hoped that she would emerge unscathed, but now it seemed that her injuries were more severe than he had thought."Is sh
The day dawned crisp and clear, with the chirping of birds and the crow of roosters filling the air. Lady Naya, who was known for being the first to rise each morning, was notably absent from the early morning prayer and worship. The other maidens noticed her absence and began to worry. As they finished their prayers, they went to Lady Naya's room to check on her. When they arrived, they found her lying in bed, weak and bruised. It was clear that she had been through a tough night. The maidens quickly sprang into action, helping Lady Naya to her feet and assisting her with getting ready for the day. They knew that Lady Naya was a fierce combatant, but they had never seen her in such a vulnerable state before. As they walked to the training grounds, Lady Naya struggled to keep up with the other maidens. Her bruises made it difficult for her to move, and she was clearly in a lot of pain.Despite her condition, Lady Naya was determined to keep going. She knew that the Twilight combat gam
As the King was leaving the gardens and making his way back to his chambers, Princess Milly noticed something is wrong somewhere and that he seemed preoccupied and worried. She knew her brother well and could tell that something was troubling him."Brother, what's wrong?" she asked. "You haven't been yourself since dinner. Is everything okay?"The King paused for a moment, then sighed heavily. "No, Milly, everything is not okay," he replied. "Seer Daniella had a vision at dinner, and it has left me feeling uneasy."Princess Milly frowned, concerned. "What kind of vision?" she asked. The King told her about Seer Daniella's warning about a great danger looming over their kingdom. "I don't know what it means or what we should do," he said. "The Seer spoke in riddles and parables, and I'm not sure if I understood her correctly."Princess Milly listened carefully, then asked, "Did Lady Samantha hear what the Seer said?"The King shook his head. "No, she wasn't there when the Seer spoke," h
