Daily Prompts (6)

I'll be posting prompts for story openings based on our ongoing contests, successful outlines and designs, and if you are up for it, take it and write it out~

"Mrs, the mister wants to know where his black star tie is..." The maid's voice is timid on the phone.

She sighs, not fully conscious when she is just woken up by the sudden phone call.

"Bedroom closet, left drawer, second row, third to the right." She sits up in the bed, eyes closed.

Still sleepy, she tries to go back to sleep after she hung up, but only to be startled by the ring tone again after only five minutes.

"Mrs..." The maid sounds like she's about to cry, "the mister is leaving for a business trip to Paris today, and he wants you to pack for him."

"We are divorced," She realizes what these phone calls are really about, "tell him to pack his things himself!"

Right before she is about to hang up, his voice came through with a perfect dose of grit: "Get here in 30 minutes."

"I'm no longer your free maid, jerk! We are divorced--"

"You still own me two million dollars. I'm looking at your IOU right now, so--"

Changing into a smily voice in the next second, she answers fast: "I'll be there right now!" And pack the hell out of that jerk!

Looking at the childish smirk on his face, the maid sighs lightly, thinking -- from the way he talks, there is a long way before he can get his pissed ex-wife back...
