"I look forward to shooting the MTV with you guys! I feel like my song is going to be a hit with your chemistry," said Nook, the famous singer that signed Cole and Joan for his next music video.
Joan smiled and accepted the handshake, saying, "Thank you. I look forward to the shoot as well."
"Cole, man! You look good, as always. Joan is a nice catch. Don't lose this one," teased the singer, giving Cole a shoulder.
Cole glanced at Joan for a second before telling Nook, "I'm not the one who is going to do the losing."
"What?" Joan asked with a frown, but Cole merely dismissed her reaction and resumed scheduling the shoot with Monica, his manager.
Joan joined Cole and Monica for lunch after the contract signing, and while the latter two were eating heartily, Joan kept checking her phone.
