ログインElias’s POV
I sigh as I step out of the kitchen area, finally done meeting with the head Omega, her staff, and the Gammas. Yeah, I did all of that, and that should be my Luna’s job, but I don’t have one. So it falls on me. Like everything else. My mom is still Luna… technically, but she’s semi-retired. Truthfully? She should’ve stepped down already. She’s been through too much, but I let it go. There's no point in pushing that right now. Kelly, our head Omega, is training her daughter, Kaylee, to take over soon, and I’ll say this... Kaylee is going to be perfect for the role. She knows her shit, and how to run things properly. She keeps everything organized, smooth, efficient, and more importantly? She treats the other omegas with respect. Definitely not like some of these other packs where omegas get treated like they’re nothing. That shit doesn’t fly here. In our pack? Everyone matters, everyone works, and everyone contributes. In our pack, everyone gets taken care of. That’s how my grandfather built this pack, and that’s how we’re keeping it. I rub the back of my neck as I walk, exhaustion settling into my bones. Grandfather still checks in from time to time. Him and Grandma spend most of their time in the human realm now, bouncing between my aunt’s pack and my uncle’s up north thats next door to the Werewolf Council. They don't really like it there especially since its so close to the Werewolf Council. Too damn close for comfort, but it works in our favor. He keeps us informed and heeps us ahead of those crooked Council Members, and I respect the hell out of that. I glance back at Kaylee, who’s still smiling, still hanging onto every word I said. She giggles softly at something I mentioned earlier, cheeks flushed. Yeah, she’s beautiful, there's no denying that, and if I wasn’t so damn… fucked up from everything? I probably would’ve taken her out. Showed her a good time, but I already know how that ends. I would fuck her a few times and then I'm gone, and I’m not doing that to her. She doesn’t deserve that. I’ve messed around with a few she-wolves, the quiet ones, discreet ones, but Kaylee. Nah. She’s too close to the inner circle. She's too important, and I don’t mix business like that, …except for Sabine, and that was a mistake. A big one, I fucked Caden’s sister. Out of all the damn people. I should’ve known better. I did know better, but after the rejection? I wasn’t thinking straight. Neither one of us were. Draven went completely off the rails sleeping around with any woman who showed interest in him. He didn’t care who it was, what their status was, if they looked his way, he entertained it. Didn’t matter how they looked if they were married or mated. I've heard some crazy stories. Some of them I wish I hadn’t. Me? I kept my sexual partners secret and very limited and controlled. Except for her, and now she’s a huge problem. She's clingy, possessive, and delusional enough to think she’s going to be Luna. I shake my head slightly. “Yeah… not happening.” And then there’s Darius. He had something real with her, or at least… it should’ve been. I’m damn near certain she was his mate, and she rejected him. For me, position, and for power, and that alone pisses me off more than anything. Because Moon Goddess my brother and I did everything right. Everything. We stayed disciplined, stayed focused, and stayed pure til that damn rejection. We went to Alpha school and finished ahead of time. Excelled in everything, respected our parents, and followed every damn rule. And we still got rejected. Why? Because we’re twins. I let out a bitter breath. “I’ve never seen no shit like that in my life…” Other packs, mates would get rejected for status, for rank, for sexual history. But us, we were the best option, and she still said no, because she didn’t want both of us. We could’ve figured it out. Taken turns. Made it work. Hell, we’re twins. You can barely tell us apart. I shake my head, forcing myself out of that spiral. “Alright, Kaylee,” I say, giving her a small nod. “You did good today. I’ll see you next week.” Her whole face lights up, cheeks turning red again as I play with her ponytail. I chuckle softly and walk away. The second I turn my back... That smile drops. Just like that. I already told Draven about the meeting tomorrow. Crupt council members are coming in which means bullshit, politics, and pretending we care more than we do. I make my way to my room, already exhausted. But before I even reach the door, I smell her. I close my eyes briefly. “Of course…” Sabine. She’s always in my space. Always where I don’t want her to be. I just want to sleep and that’s it. Nothing else. I open the door, and there she is. Standing there completely naked like she owns the place. I don’t even react. Just walk past her, heading straight for the counter. I grab a glass, pour some were-whiskey, and take a slow sip. “Want one?” I ask flatly. She shrugs. “Sure.” I pour her a glass, hand it off, then move to the couch and sit down. She drinks quick, a little too quick. Then comes over, sitting close, too damn close. “So…” she says softly. “You okay? Want me to help you relax?” I glance at her. “No,” I say bluntly. “I want you to put some clothes on.” She frowns slightly. “Why? I was trying to take care of you tonight, Draven. I miss your huge cock.” I take another sip, letting the burn settle. “I want to be alone tonight.” Her expression shifts immediately. Annoyed. Frustrated. “What is wrong with you and your brother?” she snaps. “Your brother is out there doing whatever the hell he wants, and you’re in here acting like this big ass.... an asshole” I set my glass down slowly. “I said leave.” Her jaw tightens. “You two make me sick,” she mutters. “Your brother and mine are out there doing God knows what with multiple she-wolves, and I’m trying to be with you, and you don’t even want me.” I don’t respond. Because I don’t. Not tonight. Not like this. “Fuck it,” she snaps, grabbing her clothes and throwing them on. “I’m done.” She storms out, slamming the door behind her. Silence fills the room. I lean back, exhaling slowly. “…finally.” Peace, for once. I run a hand over my face, mind already shifting. Council meeting tomorrow. Two of those arrogant bastards coming in. Then the up and coming ball in six weeks, and that damn prophecy. I glance toward the wall, knowing exactly where it’s hidden. Deep in the dungeon behind another spelled wall. Where no one can find it. Not even the Council. Only the Alpha bloodline, and the Luna. Which we don’t have. I huff out a quiet breath. “Good thing we didn’t end up with her…” She would’ve told everything. With no hesitation. I lean back, staring at the ceiling. “…maybe the Moon Goddess was protecting us.” Or maybe she wasn’t. At this point, I don’t even know anymore. All I know is, that I’m tired. I finish my drink, pushing myself up. “Shower, sleep, and just done.” Because thinking about any of this any longer? Yeah… That’s not happening tonight.Third Person POV Sabine nervously carried her plate toward an empty table and sat down by herself. For once, she didn't particularly feel like being surrounded by people. She picked at her food while watching Alpha Adrian and Luna Allora move through the room, greeting visiting Alphas, Lunas, council members, and other high-ranking wolves who had remained in Moon Valley after the Mating Ball. But no matter how hard she tried not to look at him, her gaze kept drifting toward Malric. And apparently, his kept drifting toward her.Every few minutes, she'd catch him looking. Not staring exactly.Malric was too smooth for that.He could be in the middle of a conversation with three Alphas and somehow still manage to glance across the room and find her.It made Sabine nervous.Which pissed her off because Sabine didn't get nervous around men.Men got nervous around her.She stabbed a piece of potato with her fork and tried to listen to the conversation happening across the room.Vicky and D
Explicit Scenes Ahead Sabine’s POV“My turn first, little wolf.”He dragged his mouth down from the bottom of my stomach, and settled between my thighs. The first long, slow lick through my folds made my back arch clean off the bed. He was patient. Thorough. He licked me like he had all morning and intended to use every second of it. His flat tongue dragging from my entrance all the way up to my clit, then circling it with the tip until my hips were rolling against his face. When he sealed his mouth over my engorged clit and sucked, with two thick fingers sliding inside me at the same time, I came hard enough to see stars. He didn’t stop. He kept licking and fingering me through it, then he pushed my knees higher and wider, tilting my hips up so he could drag his tongue lower. The first wet stroke over my forbidden back passage made me jolt.“Easy,” he murmured against me. “Just feel it.”He licked me there with the same focused patience, tongue firm and insistent, while his fingers
Sabine's POVAfter climbing on top of this man like a baby koala bear clinging to a tree, I discovered something else about Malric. This motherfucker could kiss, and I mean kiss the life out of me.He kissed me better than I'd ever been kissed in my entire life. There was something about the demanding power behind it. The strength in his hands. The confidence in the way he handled me as if he knew exactly what he was doing and didn't need instructions.I knew I was drunk.Okay, maybe a little more than drunk. But this man was fucking amazing.Everything he did felt skilled and deliberate. One second, I was on top of him. The next, Malric flipped me onto my back and came down over me.I gasped before his mouth covered mine again.Oh Goddess. He kissed me life I was air and he needed oxygen to survive.Even my wolf had started purring loud. Then, suddenly, he stopped.I frowned up at him.Malric stared down at me for several seconds before sighing.“You know what, sweetie?”“What?”“I
Third Person POV While the Silvercrest twins and the Blackwood family were across the territory getting settled into the old Beta house, trying to figure out who was sleeping where, who was taking the couches, and which couples needed to be kept as far away from everyone else as possible, the Moon Valley Mating Ball was still in full swing. The ballroom remained packed.Music thundered through the massive space, bodies moved across the dance floor, drinks continued to flow, and every few minutes another pair of wolves seemed to realize they'd found their mate. Some disappeared almost immediately.Others stayed wrapped around one another on the dance floor as though no one else existed, and then there was Sabine. She stood near the bar with a drink in her hand and a disgusted expression on her beautiful face. She had been searching the ballroom for nearly twenty minutes, and the more she looked around, the more irritated she became. She hadn't seen Elias or Draven.Valeria was nowhere
Nova’s POV I dumped my suitcase onto the bed and added and sorted everything between it and my makeup bag. We hadn't unpacked much. Most of our belongings were still in the box truck Lucien drove over with most of our items from Silvercrest, so we only had to gather the few bags we'd brought into the old Beta house. If we hadn't found our mates, Sloane and I would've eventually moved into one of the cottages and unpacked then. Instead, we were leaving for Blackwood in the morning.Valeria glanced at the bags.“Is this all you brought with you?”I laughed. “No. Most of our stuff is in a moving box truck. We just need someone to drive it back to Blackwood.”“That's smart,” she said.“Maybe the Moon Goddess was helping us. Maybe she was like, ‘Hey, bitches, don't unpack because you're about to find your mates.’”We both burst out laughing.Elena entered the room with her mask placed on the back of her head. “What are you guys laughing about?”“Nothing,” I said. “Are you guys finished?”
Elias POV I sat there watching my mate walk upstairs with my sister, her best friend, and her sister to pack.Am I excited?Fuck yes.I was beyond excited. She was accepting me.Not completely, not yet, but she was giving me a chance. After everything that had happened, I knew I had fucked up. I knew there were things I needed to prove to her, things I needed to make right. And I was going to do everything in my power to make sure I didn't screw this up again.I prayed to the Moon Goddess that hopefully I could correct my mistakes. Then there was the whole situation with Sabine.I already had a feeling that was going to be pure fucking torture.I leaned back against the couch and looked down at my hands, a smile spreading across my face.My wolf, Apollo, laughed inside my head."You know, mate isn't going to make this easy on you."I sighed."I know, but I'm going to try my best."Apollo's amusement faded slightly."Human, that's all we can do is try our best."I nodded."Then I'll t
Draven’s POV“Bro… how many times are you gonna change your tie?”I leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, watching my twin for what felt like the tenth damn time as he adjusted, loosened, then redid the same black tie like it personally offended him.Elias shot me a sharp look in the mirror, ja
Third Person POVThe sirens rang through the Blackwood Pack lands like a five alarm fire in the California Hills. It was just after midnight when the alarms brought the pack to life as the red emergency lights were strobing violently across the grounds lighting up the darkness with pulsating flashe
The War of a Hundred YearsThree hundred years ago…before the realm fractured…before the Moon fell silent…There was a war of wars. Not the kind whispered about in pack halls. Not the kind fought over land, power, or pride. This war was of internal rot.It started quietly, like something festerin
Draven’s POV Two Years Later....“Son, you are one of the most powerful Alphas in this country. You need to get your shit together.”I roll my eyes, leaning back in the chair like I don’t have a care in the world.Because honestly?I don’t.My dad keeps talking, going on and on, and his words are
