A confrontation

While Mr Cross is snoring away beside me, I go to the living room to search for his phone. When I find it, I make sure to lock myself inside the bathroom to see what I can find about his wife, Natasha.

It is as if God is on my side, because just like for his computer, he has the same password for his phone. I soon find his wife’s entire schedule for the rest of the month.

I make a note of when she will have her next hair appointment and where. I skip through the rest to see that she will be having lunch with some friends, and also visiting a clinic. I smile, thinking that I can finally put my plan into action.

'Watch out Mrs Cross, because you won't have that last name for too long.'

I crawl back onto the bed beside my soon to be husband. I gaze at his sleeping face with a smile, knowing that it will soon always be like this.
