It’s been two years since I left Full Moon pack. I heard that rogues can stay here in Levis town, so I decided to stay here. I met Allie and she help me to cope up with human way of living. We work as waitress to a bar at night.

I was fourteen when my parents died. I am the only child, that’s why I don’t have anyone to take care of me. Our Alpha took me and I become the pack maid for five years until I met my mate. I told everything will be fine then but it turns out that my mate is already engage to the Alpha’s daughter. He rejected me. I can’t believe that he chose the power over his true mate.

I was in deep thoughts when I remember my favorite dog outside. It’s time to give him food. This dog is so close to me. I found him almost dying because of lack of foods. I found him five days ago and I decided to take care of him. He is Happy, he makes me happy.

I’m busy giving him food and patting him when I fell a presence staring at me. He walks out from the back door which is not allow the customer to use.

I can feel the power radiating on him. He’s an alpha.

Lucy, my wild is spinning inside of me.

‘What is your problem Lucy?’ I asked.

‘He’s handsome and powerful.’ She says.

This is my problem. Lucy is such a horny wolf. She’s attracted to male with so much powers, like Alpha or Beta.

“Customers are not allowed here.” I said.

“I just want some air out here. I’ll be leaving after few minutes.” He says.

“Then I leave you here.” I got better things to do inside. His presence makes my wolf stirs and makes me nervous.

I’m about to leave when I feel his hand grab mine. I look at him in shock.

“Can you stay for a little longer?” He asks.

I feel like my stomach suddenly invaded by butterflies. This is dangerous, he might know my previous pack and tell them I’m here.

‘Don’t be a coward. I don’t think he’s like that.’

‘How do you know Lucy? We just see him today.’

‘I don’t know. Just instincts.’ She said.

I ignored her and look at this guy and his hand holding me.

He let go. He looks like he needs company. I think he got problems. There’s nothing wrong being nice. I guess?

“I still got fifteen minutes before my break ends.” I look away and give my attention to my puppy, happy.

“Thanks. I’m Mark by the way.” He says.

“I’m Wen. Nice to meet you Mark. You’re an Alpha right? I can sense it.” I said.

“Yes I am. You’re a rogue, how come?” He as asks.

““A very long story to be discuss for less than fifteen minutes. How about you? This side of land rarely visited by packs member or their leaders. Why are you here?”

“Just passing time. I think I need a drink even it will not totally affect my system. I need some air to think about something.”

“Something? Or someone?”

“Actually both. I did things that make someone so mad and disappointed in me.”

“Is she your mate or girlfriend?”

“None of the above. She’s a rogue like you before I helped her and turn her into my pack members. She becomes my little sister but she’s not in the pack anymore since she become the Luna of Moon Crescent pack.” I don’t know why I feel happy knowing that he’s still mate less. I look at happy and he’s staring at me.

“Oh, I know that pack. Their Alpha help one of our pack members when his mate was kidnapped by rogue.” Stella is our beta’s mate. She was kidnapped by rogues but luckily save by a girl name Angel from Moon Crescent pack.

“Which pack did you came from?” I don’t want him to know which pack I came from.

“Let’s not talk about it. I don’t want to associate my name with that pack anymore.”

“I feel like you’re hiding from someone or you’re trying to leave alone. It’s not healthy for your wolf.” He says.

“My time is up. I’ll be going back now. It’ nice talking you Mark.” I said avoiding the topic.

“You too.” He says.

I get back inside as fast as I can be. That man gives me foreign feelings. It scares the hell out of me.

Allie run towards me and suddenly hugs me.

“You seem in a good mood. Did you receive a big tip from the customers?” I asked when she let me go.

“No! but more. I found my mate and he told me that we can stay with their pack tomorrow.” She says. Her eyes are shining and she can’t stop smiling.

The feeling I once felt when I found him.

“Me too? Wait, they agree to let me join their pack?”

“Yes dear, you know I can be persuasive sometimes.” Allie says.

“Oh my gosh! That’s really good news. Our wolf will be free now and we don’t have to hide them all the time.” I said. I’m really happy. I think it’s time for me to start a new life and also, I don’t want to live as rogues forever.

“We should leave now and pack our things. My mate will pick us tomorrow morning.” She says.

We practically ditch our work here and told our managers that we are not coming again. We brought a glass of wine as last payment without them knowing. We party the whole night while packing. We talk so much about our new life in there and how we can shift and play with our wolf.

I can feel Lucy’s being happy hearing that. She’s getting mad about now shifting whenever she wanted. Thankfully she respects my decision to stay hidden inside of me unless needed. It’s been a long time since I last shifted, I miss being free.

I look at Allie who’s already pass out and snoring loudly. I hope his mate have long patience. Allie is very straight forward girl. She says what she wanted. That make us get into fight with some of our customers at the bar. But that’s what I like her, she’s strong. She left her pack because her Alpha wants her to marry his beta’s son. Her parents agreed with the Alpha but she refuses. She grabs her things and left that pack for good.

I hope this will be the start of our new life. Life away from those who hurt us.
