Chapter Eighty - Five

Hills and Regina followed the police to Damon's penthouse. As they approached the gate, Hills turned to Regina, his voice filled with uncertainty.

"Are you sure this is the penthouse, Regina?" he asked, casting a glance at the elegant building before them.

Regina hesitated for a moment before responding. "I've only been here once, and that was when Damon showed me the house before our divorce. But based on what he told me, this should be it. Let's go in and have a look. I really hope we find him."

They rang the doorbell, their hearts pounding with anticipation. To their surprise, the door swung open almost immediately, revealing Charlotte standing there.

Both Regina and Charlotte locked eyes, memories of the past flashing through their minds. Regina couldn't help but remember the painful moment she caught Damon in bed with Charlotte, the betrayal etched into her memory.

The pain she felt seeing her husband pants down with his secretary in their matrimonial bed. And the mockery Charlo
