Heartbreak Episode

It was really happening, wasn't it?

Lior stood outside the Council Room, his hands behind his back as he stared outside the windows of the hallway. His face remained expressionless but there were many thoughts running through his head at the moment.

The first, being that people were quite confusing creatures. Unlike animals that were loyal, trustworthy, and easy to understand. They didn't hide their true intentions through fake smiles and laughs.

They were open. Transparent.

People, on the other hand, were not.

"It's not the end of the world, Lior, so you can wipe that look off your face."

He turned to his side, watching as his Grandmother was wheeled towards him. As soon as she was close enough, she waved the man behind her away, her hands folded on her laps. Her face was strict, cold to anyone else that saw which wasn't surprising. The only one she ever let herself smile at was Nine. "It is not the end of this world, possibly, but it is the end of many things."

"Like what?" Grandma
