SASHA POV
"Table for two," Ben says, and the human females nods.
She gives us an easy smile before collecting two menus and escorting us to a cozy-looking booth.
"Is this okay," she asks
"This is perfect, thank you," Ben says.
The hostess blushes slightly but doesn't even look towards my mate as she places the menus on the table. "Smart human." I sit down and look around the quaint restaurant. I like it. The lights are dim, and the decor is very rustic.
I can feel Ben's gaze as he watches my expression, but I avoid eye contact. I'm nervous. So nervous. I have never been on a date, and I have rarely dined out. Although my parents can't cook, I can. I also taught Ethan how to find his way around a kitchen. So since my life has consisted of nothing exciting, I usually cook dinner for my family.

BEN POV I groan loudly as I roll over. My head feels like it is splitting. My body feels like it was run over by a bus. I manage to make it to the restroom on autopilot. SASHA POV Ben's cheeks are flushed as he sits back down. Our bond is now whole, and the feeling is overwhelming. His emotions aren't just flowing within me. It is as if he is shooting them at me, and with each shot, they are shattering a piece of my uncertainty. I feel absolutely nothing that would lead me to believe Ben is trying to fool me. His emotions pour out happiness and contentment, but there is a hint of smugness. As if he is happy about proving me wrong about his interest in that annoying she-wolf. Which makes both Natalia and I happy. "Will it always feel this powerful," I ask once again in a soft voice that I only seem to use with him."I'm not sure.
