The wind blew through my window, and landed on my naked body. I shivered a bit, and touched the side of my bed to get some warmth.

But all I left was emptiness, I jerked up, and found an empty bed.

“Ayla….” I called out her name but all I got was silence. I walked into my bathroom, but she wasn't there.

I put on my robe, and headed to the living room in my chambers, she still wasn't there.

I was about to place a call to Damon when I noticed a cup of coffee, and I walked towards it.

I picked up the coffee, and it was still steaming hot. There was paper underneath it.

“Last night was among plenty of amazing nights to come between the both of us. For as long as it lasts. Xoxo, Ayla,” I read, and sipped the coffee.

“Ohh,” I sighed. It tasted heavily, just like her. I looked at the little cute letter, and smiled. She's really taking this no love, and affection thing seriously.

I got a glimpse of some documents on my table, and decided to get a headstart for today, after a shower.
