CHAPTER 116 - The War Begins

Clayton stood his ground firmly as his eyes finally caught sight of the army of rogues that is heading their way. He felt Liam behind him take a deep breath, knowing that he had also seen the enemy heading their way.

It was two more days for the rogues to reach their area. But it was the most hellish two days for all his pack members as those joining the war bade their family and loved ones a farewell with hopes for them coming back home alive.

He remembered seeing Liam hugging his wife, Elise and cradling their son, Logan. Liam was whispering comforting and loving words to her and finally kissing her goodbye.

If only things turned out the way for him as well.

Amarah answered his link during those times when he didn’t see her among the crowd and refused to go and see him took off. She told him that she already hang on to his promise that early morning when he took off after Gabriel linked with him that the enemy is nearing.

“I’m not going to go there, Clayton,” she linked slowly. “Bec
