Azara.

Last night felt like a dream.

Despite the event replaying non-stop in my head, I still couldn't believe Alpha Atlas saved me from Giselle's wrath.

My body hadn't recovered from the shock that descended all over it- Atlas' furious eyes as he stormed down the stairs, the air shifting as his dominating aura took over.

Even the almighty Giselle submitted at Atlas’ deadly aura, her confidence shattered like pieces of glass.

“Let her go this instant!”

“You have no right to maltreat her anymore!”

Goosebumps spread all over my body. It was as if I could still hear his bellows, reverberating within the enclosed walls of my mind.

She was reluctant at first, insisting that I had been rude to her and I deserved to be punished. But one death glare from Atlas was enough to let me go.

Beneath her blank stare was pure venom waiting patiently to be unleashed.

I remembered hurrying to my room as Alpha Atlas turned his back to leave after ordering Giselle to her quarters.

  • The Quadruplet Alphas' Slave Mate   Chapter 83

Chapter 83Azara. I was wrapped in despair the moment I met myself in my room. The enchanted garden, the dazzling flowers, and Tatiana vanished in the flash of light. My heart was on the verge of exploding as I began to recollect the dream bit by bit. My best friend was murdered in cold blood. Yet, we were kept in the dark. No one suspected a thing. How clever could this killer be? Framing her death as suicide. Everything was done so perfectly that even the Alphas were convinced. What baffled me most was the killer's ability to blend amongst sympathizers during Tatiana's last moments and burial moments. Fuck! How could we not notice? How could I not notice?! It wasn't that hard to spot the ruthless killer amongst the grieving crowd, right? The person with weird behaviour, suspicious character, tensed expression, impatient act, paranoid feeling, and strange body language. How could I not notice anyone?! How could I not be vigilant? How could I fall for such a fabricated st

Chapter 82Azara.“I see all you've been doing in my absence. The way you take care of my mother, the flowers. I appreciate it, but you need to bond with your mate, Azalea. They miss you badly. Don't drift apart because of me. Don't lose them. You've always wanted this, to have your mate's wrapped around your fingers, to start a family, don't ruin all your hard work.” Swallowing the sadness in my throat as those words marinated within me, I agreed with a slow nod, forcing a sad smile to hang on my face as I blinked hard to avoid tears. She was not far from the truth. But this truth broke my heart. I wasn't ready for it, not now, not ever. I just wanted to bond with my friend. After Tatiana's burial, I thought I would never see her again, but thankfully, I got to see her in my dream. If only it were reality. Nonetheless, I was thankful to the Moon Goddess for granting me the rare opportunity to spend time with my friend. Lifting her head from my lap to scan the environment, I c

Chapter 81Author's pov“Where is my Opal wolf?!” Darius’ roars shook the cell Sabrina was curled up in to the foundation so hard that her insides vibrated. “I swear by the Moon Goddess if you haven't found any useful information about harvesting her from the arms of her Pack, the things that I will do to you tonight…even the devil will weep.” The heavy weight of his threats almost made Sabrina as pale as a ghost as her heart nearly jumped out of the cage of her ribs in horror. It was as though the threats landed heavily on Sabrina's mind like a bomb. It shattered her from within, sending her quivering like a leaf tossed by the merciless wind during a storm. She was doomed. She knew it. Darius wasn't a man known to make empty threats. His words were law, and every disobedience was accompanied by endless, cruel punishment. She could feel her heart about to jump out of the cage of her chest as the heavy thumping of Darius’ boot drew closer to her cell. Panic ate her up from within

  • The Quadruplet Alphas' Slave Mate   Chapter 80

Chapter 80Azara Dinner time was like ice, not to the quadruplets, but to me. While the quadruplets were delighted that I finally broke out of my shell to spend quality time with them to tighten the bond I almost severed, I remained rooted to a spot, unflinching, forcing nervous smiles occasionally, and throwing a word or two at their compliments. A crushing pain rolled over me after realizing how much they invested in making dinner, pouring their heart, soul, and love to impress me. How they went above and beyond to put things into perfection, made my favourite dish, and tried to create a warm atmosphere to ease me. Bodily, I was present, but my mind was far away. Kilometers away from them. No joke made sense, no compliment erupted any blush, no words were able to erase the knot twisting my stomach. The soft music that filled the background felt like an unbearable noise to me. I craved undiluted silence. I needed to think this through. Soon, it felt like the room began to sh

Chapter 79Azara. My breath hitched and my skin turned pale as his words rang in my mind. What the fuck?! How did he know I was hiding something?Fuck the mate bond. He could almost read my mind. “Secret?... What secret?” I stuttered, blinking severely as I fought to maintain an expressionless look, although my mind was at war. Fear threatened to consume my existence leaving no traces as every second flew by. Sucking in deep breaths to calm my nerves, I focused hard to remain calm and collected, afraid that any wrong move will be detected and he will sniff my lie…my secret. “Go ahead, Azalea, tell him the truth. He might get mad, but he will forgive you,” Aria pestered, her words lingered in my mind for a long time almost making me doubt. “Stop!” I gritted my teeth, swallowing hard as I started to get irritated by her constant yapping about exposing the truth. It almost made me cringe. “Now is the best time. I beg you, do the right thing,” she continued, her voice almost break

  • The Quadruplet Alphas' Slave Mate   Chapter 78

Chapter 78Azara.Paralyzed by shock, I froze on the spot, my life flashing before my eyes. I was lost in the sea of conflicting thoughts. I could feel my spirit float out of my body as panic overtook me like a storm surge. The fear that welled up within me was tangible. Like a living thing, I could feel its sharp claws ripping me from within as it crawled into the depths of my stomach. Chills crept into my spine and my pulse won't stop roaring in my ears. At that moment, my mother's words came alive in my head. Her voice was so firm and clear, it was like I could see her standing before me. Her warnings hammered in my head, skyrocketing my fear. “If words come out that Logan's only relation is alive, you will be haunted to the ends of the earth.”I could feel my heart sink to the bottomless abyss of my stomach as I gulped loudly. My fingers were trembling, and fear became palpable. “It is bad that you are a Fire Opal wolf, but it is a worse fate that you are Alpha Logan Storm
