CHAPTER HUNDRED ONE

Scarlett’s POV

As the leader mocked me, his words hurt like poison, but I refused to let his arrogance weaken my determination. My main priority was to protect Freda and the pack, no matter what. Ignoring the pain in my body, I forced myself to stand tall in front of him.

"I may be young, but you underestimate my strength," I replied, trying to sound steady despite my trembling. "You might have heard about me, but you don't truly understand what I'm capable of."

The leader's eyes showed a hint of amusement. "Oh, I'd love to see what you can do, little wolf," he said, provoking me further. "Go ahead, impress me. Show me your strength."

With those mocking words, he attacked me again, moving quickly and strategically. I dodged to the side, avoiding his attack, and countered by striking his side. However, my attack didn't seem to bother him much. He chuckled darkly, seeming to enjoy the challenge.
