Simon sat on the cold stone floor of the dimly lit room he had been locked in. His hands were bruised from trying to pull free of the bounding chains that kept him from shifting into his wolf form. The room was too silent and he couldn't hear any movements or talks from near the door. He had been left alone for hours, maybe even days and he had lost track.
