“Are you sure? The pack will fight either way. Do you think that it is necessary for them to know you are a red wolf?” Callan asked, worry seeping from his voice.

“If they are going to fight for me, then they need to know that they are fighting for me. Plus, I am tired of hiding. After this, too many people will know I am a red wolf. I don’t want to stay hidden or running for the rest of my life.” I approached Callan as I spoke. I knew that he was worried but we were already fighting a great risk. I didn’t want the pack fighting for a hidden cause. I touched my hand to Callan’s arm, attempting to ease some of his worry.

“I know…I just want to keep you safe.” Callan said and I could tell that all of this is weighing heavy on him.
