Bonus Chapter 5

Jason held Aaron tightly, his voice whispering softly in his ear. "It's okay, buddy. I'm here for you. You don't have to face this alone."

Aaron's body shook with sobs, his tears soaking into Jason's shirt. Jason didn't mind; he just held him closer, his heart aching for the pain his son was going through.

As they sat there, Jason stroked Aaron's hair, his touch gentle and soothing.

Aaron's sobs slowly subsided, replaced by sniffles and ragged breathing. Jason handed him a tissue, and Aaron blew his nose, his eyes red and puffy.

"I hate him," Aaron whispered, his voice trembling.

Jason's expression was understanding. "I know, buddy. But hate is a heavy burden to carry. Maybe one day you can find it in your heart to forgive him."

Aaron shook his head. "I don't want to forgive him. I just want him to leave me alone."

Jason's grip on Aaron tightened. "I understand, buddy. You don't have to see him if you don't want to. But just know that he's trying to make amends, okay?"
