LOGINChapter 3
As I went outside to meet Kira, my brother's mate, I picked up her call. "Hey, Micha, where are you? I'm already inside the pack hall, but I can't find my way around," she said, sounding a little lost. "Hey, it's me, Michelle," I replied. "My brother asked me to come get you once you reached the grand hall." "Oh, hi Michelle! Okay, where are you? I'm really lost." I chuckled softly. "Alright, tell me where you are. I'll come find you I know my way around here." "Okay, I'm standing in front of a gate that's grey in colour." "Oh, that's perfect. That's exactly where we're heading," I said. "Micha told me to take you to him once you arrived. I'll be there in a jiffy." "Okay," she replied, and I hung up. A few minutes later, I spotted her. "Hey, Kira!" I called out. "Hey, Michelle!" she smiled. "It's been a while. You look really beautiful today. Damn, I almost didn't recognize you! If I hadn't heard your voice, I would've thought you were someone else. Wow, I'm really surprised." "It's all thanks to Kate," I said shyly. "Oh, you mean your best friend?" "Yes," I nodded. "She's the one who did my makeup and even chose this dress." We talked as we walked through the grey gate together. "Wow, that's great," she said. "You're really lucky to have a friend like her. I'm sure she dolled you up hoping you'd find your mate today. Honestly, I hope you do come to think of it, you're the only one among us who doesn't have a mate yet. I really hope you find him." Her words made me smile nervously. We soon arrived at Alpha Levi's dressing room, and my heart started to race. Of course it would I was about to see him, my crush. I didn't know if this would be the last time I'd ever see him, and the thought made me both happy and sad at once. I knocked on the door while Kira waited eagerly to see my brother, her mate. Zaki opened the door and smiled. I followed Kira inside, pretending I was only there to return my brother's phone. I could have handed it to Kira or Zaki but the truth was, I just wanted to see Alpha Levi. My brother was already hugging his mate, looking so happy. I hadn't seen Levi yet, but the moment he stepped out from one of the rooms, I froze. Why? Because my wolf began whispering, Mate… mate… mate. And before I knew it, I said it out loud. The silence that filled the room was deafening. Then it got even worse Alpha Levi said the same word. Now the silence felt suffocating. Everyone in the room was shocked including Levi and me. We just stood there, unable to move. I could see the conflict in his eyes, how much he was struggling. And then… tears began to fall from mine. Because deep down, I already knew what was coming. Alpha Levi was going to reject me. There was no doubt. My supposed fated mate the one the Moon Goddess chose for me was already in love with another woman. And that realization broke me. Why would I be mated to her? I was deep in thought, trying to make sense of it all. Her scent — that sweet vanilla fragrance was driving me insane. I wanted to run to her, to hold her, and yet… how could she look so beautiful? My heart broke the moment she started crying. I could guess what she was thinking. Everyone knows I'm in love with Clara, so of course, she'd assume I'd reject her. And she was right. Not just because of Clara, but because… she's weak. A weak mate would do the pack no good. She's an omega. Hell no. That can't work. Still, her scent wouldn't leave me alone. That was the real reason I stepped out earlier I kept hearing that word echo in my head: mate, mate, mate. I thought it would be Clara. Even if it wasn't, I expected someone… better. Someone strong. Someone worthy of being Luna. The Moon Goddess doesn't make mistakes… right? So why does this feel like one? I needed to silence the room before anyone said anything. "I'm sure you know I can't accept you," I said firmly. The room went silent. Everyone looked shocked heartbroken, even. I felt nothing… until I saw her face. My mate's expression shattered me inside. "Magnus, calm down," I said to my wolf, who was furious. > "No! Why would I calm down? We finally have our mate, and you choose to stay with that idiot? That ordinary girl who only relies on her parents' background and the Alpha's protection?" "Don't insult Clara," I snapped. "She's done nothing wrong. She's strong, graceful, and would make a great Luna. She doesn't discriminate against omegas or maids she's polite, calm, and powerful. She's the perfect choice, Magnus. You can't expect me to choose a weak omega." > "Fine," Magnus growled. "But if you don't want me to take control and ruin everything, don't reject her." "What? Why wouldn't I? I have to" > "I know you," he interrupted. "You won't reject her outright. You'll just… walk away." And that's exactly what I did. "Nobody should hear about this," I said in a strained voice and walked out. I wanted to apologize, to tell her I was sorry that it wasn't her fault, that it was me. But I couldn't. The look on her face haunted me. Why couldn't I stop thinking about her? Even after I left, she stayed in my mind. The ceremony began, but I was distracted the entire time. I couldn't stop thinking about how breathtaking she looked in that dress… or how much pain I'd caused her. When Clara came and held my hand, we both realized something we weren't each other's fated mates. We were just… holding on to what we called love. At least, that's what I thought. But suddenly, I wasn't so sure anymore. Magnus was silent cold, distant. When he did speak, it was only short replies like Sure, or I understand. It felt like talking to a stranger, not my wolf. Worse, Zaki was clearly avoiding me. Micha didn't even try to hide his anger. It was understandable I'd hurt his sister, my mate. I hadn't just lost my mate. I'd lost my friends too. Micha, my beta and closest brother, looked at me with disappointment. I didn't know how to fix things. I knew it would take time maybe forever for him to forgive me. Clara noticed how quiet and distant I'd become. She tried to comfort me, but strangely… I didn't feel anything. When I asked to be excused, she nodded. I left the hall, brushing past guests who tried to hand me gifts or exchange greetings. I wasn't interested in any of it. I just needed air. So I walked outside, hoping the breeze could cool the storm raging inside me.Chapter 117The Demon RealmAfter Roosevelt left the throne room, he summoned Jyra and said,"Gather all the arch-demons you've managed to find and attack the Werewolf Realm."Jyra lowered his head."If I may ask, my lord, why are we attacking so soon?"Roosevelt's eyes darkened."The werewolves have joined hands with Raphael."Jyra immediately nodded."Alright, my lord. I will gather the arch-demons."He turned before asking,"Are you coming with us?"Roosevelt replied,"No. I won't be joining you."A few hours later, the arch-demons departed for the Werewolf Realm. Not long after, screams echoed throughout the Demon Realm.Roosevelt stepped outside and looked at a demon who wouldn't stop screaming."What is the matter?"The arch-demon was breathing heavily."Holy water..."Roosevelt frowned."Holy water?"Kelvin arrived and said,"The races had holy water. They splashed it on our skin, and... well, it burns. Luckily for me, I avoided most of it."Roosevelt's expression darkened."Wh
Chapter 116The Demon RealmErin's POVI've been here for quite a while now.Roosevelt, the Demon King, didn't treat me like a slave. Instead, I was treated like a queen.I never expected Roosevelt to be like this. The first day I arrived here, I wasn't conscious. It was when Ruby was tending to the wounds the arch-demon Kelvin had inflicted on me that Roosevelt took me away.I asked him if I could send letters, and he told me I could.I was relieved. So I sent letters to everyone close to me in the realm.A demon delivered them, and I specifically told Roosevelt that no one should be harmed when traveling to the Werewolf Realm. Then I received a reply.Reading everything in that letter shattered me.To think that Mars was Nicolas. And Clara? She was in the realm with a completely new face. There was no way I was going to forgive either of them. But when Levi told me that I had a twin sister, I knew she was the person Roosevelt had mistaken me for.I went to find Roosevelt. As I left
Chapter 115The Werewolf RealmLevi's POV"That is the end of my tale. I managed to summarize everything that has happened over the past year."King Johnson sighed."I must say, a lot has happened. I'm glad you guys survived."Michael said,"So what about my granddaughter? If Roosevelt is sending his demons, does that mean she'll be hurt?"Mars replied,"I don't think so. Roosevelt only sent his demons because he was furious that Levi is supporting Raphael now."Queen Selene said,"I didn't know Raphael owned a dragon now."I asked,"Didn't he own a dragon before you were put into slumber?"Princess Eloise walked in and said,"No, he never had a dragon."They all looked at her, and from everything I had told them, I was sure they knew it was Princess Eloise. She walked forward and said,"I hope I'm not interrupting."King Johnson stood up, his eyes watering.Princess Eloise ran to him and hugged him."Son, I'm sorry I left you."She held him tightly and cried. I guess it was all new f
Chapter 114The Werewolf RealmLevi's POVMagnus burst through the battlefield, elongating his claws. Any demon who came for him was slashed apart. It was incredibly difficult to kill the arch-demons; their powers were simply different, especially with all the shape-shifting abilities.Something happened on the battlefield, and it was bad.It was obvious to all the Goldrens and every race on the field that Theo and Ruby were not well. All of a sudden, we saw Theo and Ruby on the battlefield, killing vampires and slashing the throats of wolves.Magnus yelled at Mars, "What the hell is going on? Why are they killing vampires and wolves?"Mars replied, "Definitely those manipulative demons at work."Magnus nodded as he evaded an attack from a demon."So they shape-shifted into both of them?"Mars said, "Yes. Let's go and stop them. They clearly want to cause friction between the races."Magnus and Mars sped forward as fast as they could. The wind howled, and the smell of burnt flesh ling
Chapter 104The Werewolf RealmLevi's POVAfter Roosevelt's demon left, it finally felt like I could breathe again. For the first time in what felt like forever, there was silence. But peace never lasted.Anything could happen.I wanted nothing more than to return to my room and get some rest, but then I remembered Micha. I hadn't checked on him through all the chaos, and that realization sat heavily in my chest.Too much had happened. And Kira leaving... that must have hurt him deeply. He had done it for her safety and the baby's, but that didn't make it any easier.I walked to the room where he was being treated and slowly pushed the door open.Micha lay quietly on the bed.The pack doctor was nowhere to be seen, and his wounds had already begun to close.I stood at the doorway and watched him for a moment.I hoped he would recover soon.Once the doctors from the human lands arrived with Zaki, they would be able to treat him properly. He noticed me."Levi... they've left?"A tired s
Chapter 112 The Werewolf Realm Levi’s POV Raphael stood. The chair beneath him fractured like thin ice under weight it couldn’t carry. “We’re finished here, wolf,” he declared, voice flat as a blade dragged across stone. No one breathed. Silence pressed against the walls. Mars gripped the table until the wood splintered under his fingers. Princess Eloise didn’t move. She didn’t even blink. I watched Raphael turn. His coat dragged frost across the floor with every step, leaving a trail of pale ruin. The torches lining the walls guttered and died as he passed. The temperature plummeted. Winter followed him like a shadow. He shoved the doors open. Cold wind blasted inward, though no storm brewed outside the walls. His dragon waited beyond the gates, scales white as snow that had never seen sun, wings folded tight against the night. The beast lowered its massive head when Raphael approached. It recognized its master. It always would. He climbed the spine in one motion. No saddle.
Chapter 95The Werewolf RealmMars POVAfter everything Clara said, I was actually looking forward to it. Which was strange. I didn’t know why I was looking forward to it. Or to the way she held my face.It was a different feeling. I wanted to pull her hands away, but I enjoyed watching her admire
Chapter 94The Werewolf RealmMars RoomClara’s POVMy heart was beating so fast I could hear it. I bet Mars could hear it too.Even though I was injured, I sat up and asked Mars in a fearful voice, “Are you saying Michelle, the weak omega, is actually Queen Erin?”Mars gave me a nod. “Erin is
Chapter 92The Werewolf RealmClara’s POVI woke up on the cold floor of a dungeon, perhaps? I didn’t know where I was. I looked around and realized I was in a cage. For wolves?I looked at my hands and feet. I was shackled with cold chains. I tried to speak to my wolf, even though I’d always ignor
Chapter 92 The Werewolf Realm Clara POV I super-speeded into Mars’s room like a demon was chasing me. I was breathing hard. I looked up and saw Mars sitting on the chair near the bed. He said, “Where did you go, Clara? Don’t you know it’s dangerous!” I sighed. “You didn’t want to help me, so
