BLOOM’S POV

Delivering a message to a neighboring Pack was something I never thought I’d be sent to do. I’d never been to any Pack other than the one I lived in. And honestly, I didn’t want to go since I was going to be passing through the dangerous woods. A werewolf should be happy to enter the woods, but I wasn’t because this was part of the torture. I didn’t feel safe entering the woods, but who was I to go against my father's orders?

And Cecily seeing that I was leaving the Pack on my father’s orders, threw a basket to me that I dared not catch before telling me to get some wild berries from the woods.

With my hand wrapped around the basket handle, I headed into the woods that led to a Pack called Orion Pack. As much as I wanted to be free, the truth is, there was no hope for me anymore. All I wanted was to live an ordinary life, but I had finally accepted that I couldn’t have that.

I was weak, and my spirit shattered. I saw no life beyond the one I currently had.
