Chapter 153.

Tori's POV

Blood. More than I had seen in a while. My chest felt tight, and even though I wanted to stop the bleeding, I couldn't bring myself to move.

Larissa winced as she tried to pull out the arrow, but it was so stuck, and she was only able to break out the end.

I could hear voices approaching, and my heart started to lung heavily against my chest.

She looked at me again, like I was crazy this time around.

"Run!" She repeated, and it was like she gave power

  • The Rejected Luna Strikes Back    She is my wife

Tori's POV I told Madame Rosi to give me a quick minute as I stepped into the bathroom and tried to calm my nerves. I stared hard and long into the mirror, thinking about my life that never seemed to have a stable trajectory. "Come on, Tori. You know that you cannot die. There is so much you life for, okay?" I whispered, splashing water over my face. I was still in the middle of doing that when my phone started to ring loudly in my pocket. I quickly looked for the closest towel to dry my hands before I took out the phone. When I looked at the screen, I realized that it was an unsafe number. This wasn't something new to me. I was running a fashion business, and many new customers would try to contact me every now and then... So, without a thought of alarm in my head, I placed the phone against my ear. "Hello, this is Tori Blackwood." I said in my flat, business–mode tone. I waited and waited for a response, but none came. This felt so wrong. I looked at

  • The Rejected Luna Strikes Back    Wear this all the time…

Tori's POV "What's the matter, honey?" I reached out and stroked Adrian's chin. It was one thing that he couldn't resist before, but at this point, he didn't even have a reaction. "Adrian!" I called out his name, the way his mother would. His eyes looked sharp immediately and he dropped his spoon. "Huh?" "What's the matter? You have been acting very weird since you came back from that meeting. What's the issue? You know that you can tell me anything." I was holding my breath, waiting for him to say something. Anything, but he just smiled and shook his head. "Nothing is going on, Tori, okay? Let's just enjoy our breakfast." He said. The gentle breeze blew against us as we ate on our balcony, in New Orleans. "I'm going to be stepping out for a while today." I informed him. "Checking up on your working girls?" He munched as he looked down on his plate. "No, I'm going to see Madame Rosi." I said. He looked up and stopped chewing for a while. Madame

  • The Rejected Luna Strikes Back    You are okay, Monica...

Monica's POV At the end of every year, my brother would throw a party for all his employees, and it was one of the things that everyone looked forward too. I was very excited to host this one, because I could do whatever I liked. I made it a club themed party, completed with the strippers, unending booze, and everyone dressed like the sluts that we were, deep in our hearts. I walked around in my seven inches heels, and red mini leather dress. Everyone smiled at me, and I smiled back because I knew that I looked good. "Nice party by the way, Miss Lancaster!" "You're the best!" I waved at some, blew kisses at the others, and got to the bar. I needed to catch my breath for like five minutes. My feet were killing me. "Hey, get me a bloody mary." I snapped my finger at the bartender. "Right away, ma'am." He tipped an imaginary hat. He got to work immediately, and soon the drink was right in front of me. I exhaled deeply and used the straw. It was a bi

  • The Rejected Luna Strikes Back    Still my father

Tori's POV Back in my dungeon, my knees and knuckles were bleeding from how much Viktor was throwing me around like a slave. All I could think about was the fact that Alex had my son, and I wondered what nonsense he had started to plant in his head. I stared at the chain on my wrist and wonder if this was the right time. What if I became crazy after taking it off? I almost hurt Kylian the last time. I was crying very quietly, mourning my life and the point I had found myself. I heard a wicked chuckle, and that was when I realized that Viktor hadn't left. He had remained in the darkness and watched me suffer in pain. He came into the light, his hands folded, his teeth exposed in a sinister green. "You know, never have I thought that an event like this would happen." He held on the rods of my prison, his face pressed as if he was driven my a longing to get close to me as possible. "Do you remember when I joined this pack newly?" He asked in a very low voice

  • The Rejected Luna Strikes Back    Not my woman

Tori's POV The meeting. The real reason why I went I left my beautiful wife alone in New Orleans, the day was the next day. We sat around a table and Alex was at the very head of the table. I didn't speak much, I honestly didn't have much to say. Rogues. Vampires. Humans. The fucking economy. Climate. Enemies from aboard. At this point, Alex was just pulling shit from his ass. He wanted to have problems with basically everything. All of them indulged him, nodded like he was Einstein or something, and some really sold it as they leaned forward and scribbled in their notebooks. As for me, I waited for time to pass and when it wasn't going fast enough, I would scroll through my phone.... "Alpha Adrian, what do you think?" Alex suddenly pulled me in. All eyes fell on me and I slowly turned my phone down. Adrian had his hands folded and his head slightly twisted to the side. "Sorry, what was the question?" I shrugged. "Do you think we should s

  • The Rejected Luna Strikes Back    An egotistical orphan

Chapter 174. Adrian's POV It seemed like my ears deceived me. This man had shown so much dedication to get my friendship, so how could he, in the same beat, speak so vilely of Tori? He noticed the shock on my face and all it could get out of him was a chuckle. "Victoria?" I repeated, a slight shaking in my voice. "Yeah, my ex-wife, I told you." He affirmed. "I will ripe the heart out of that fucking bitch, and she won't even know what hit her." I took a step back and my hand rubbed over my face in frustration. I wanted to bash his face in for talking about Tori like that, but I knew that I couldn't do that without igniting something that would be catastrophic. I wanted to ask what Tori ever did to him, but why bother? He was going to be his centric self and blame everything on her. I have lived with Tori for more than a year up till this point, and she was the sweetest and selfless person. Why would I bother waiting for his side of the story as if I did
