Chapter 14

Jane’s stance.

I’m in the training room, pushing myself harder than ever before. Today marks the day my rejected ex-mate will introduce and mark his new mate. Today could be my last day on earth if he succeeds in marking her. But I refuse to go down without a fight.

I won’t let him take my life after all I’ve been through. I pound the training bag relentlessly, channeling all my anger and frustration into each blow.
