“Even if what you're saying is true, you're not the mother of the triplets, The triplets are our children. You were just a surrogate mother.” Gianna said, with a shaking breath. 

*Nope! You got it all wrong! 

Avery stops walking around her and station herself in one place. Now it's time to break the unpleasant news, which might send waves of electricity into her body, thereby resulting in fainting. 

“Remember, we were to do gestational surrogacy, but unfortunately, your genetics weren't compatible with him, and if the doctor had proceeded with it, it would have led to a fall operation. 

So the doctor requested we did a traditional surrogacy, where my egg was used with your husband sperms, which means the triplets are fucking mine”, she said with a contempt. 

“And the child you claim you have today, belongs to another man.” She added. 

Gianna felt a heavy wave in her chest, a sinking feeling overwhelming her. Her whole body shuts down for some seconds and later starts functioning. It was at this moment she could hear the labored sounds of her breath, she could feel the fear within her, her whole body was trembling. 

Gianna died and came back to life immediately. 

“If you don't believe me, I'll take a strand of the triplets hair and mine, then you can go ahead to do the test,” Avery uttered. 

Gianna knew everything she was saying here it's true. There's no way she would be this bold if those words she was saying were all a lie. 

She had made a terrible mistake. If a soothsayer had told her she would meet with her enemy, which would destroy her, she would never have believed it. 

Now with just one move Avery will make, everything she has would be gone. 

“For the past twelve years I have been living in the shadows. Hiding from the spotlight. But I think it's time for me to stop hiding and let Landon, your darling husband, know of my existence and the triplets' own. What do you think?” 

Gianna hasn't been able to say anything. She was perplexed, shocked and dead, trying to fathom what was happening. 

With a deep breath, she rolled her eyes at Avery and smiled. Perhaps, threatening Avery would be better, so she could stay low like she had always been doing. 

“I want to believe you don't like the peace you've been having. Don't step on a sleeping lion tail, because you won't like the action of that lion.” She let out a parable, which she was certain she would understand and went back to her car, to sit down and reason her life, and what she's going to do next. 

It took Gianna some minutes to calm herself down because her hands were shaking the moment she entered the car back. 

She was terrified of what Avery would do. She was damn horrific because she knows what will happen the moment Avery finds Landon and exposes everything to him. 

She will be thrown away if that were to happen. She will be outcast and abandoned by him, if that were to happen, she will lose everything she had been working so hard for. And would be left with nothing. 

Gianna can tell they were the triplets Landon is looking for. 

And she needs to get hold of them, hide them from the world before landon will do. 

She needs to act on time, before they'll come into the light and dim her light then steal everything she had worked so hard for.

When Gianna noticed Avery was gone and out of her sight, she came down from the car and headed in her direction. 

She was going to meet with her baby daddy. Everything Avery said was true, concerning the child she had for Landon. 

She had no idea their genetics weren't compatible until she met Ronan who she fell in love with and they had sex. 

Gianna knew she needed to make that move, in order to secure her marriage. She had thought she was a barren woman until she met with her lover and got pregnant, one year after the surrogacy didn't work between them and Avery. 

Gianna thought everything would come out perfectly until Avery showed up. She knows the moment Avery exposed the secret to Landon, she will be chased out of the house. 

Gianna brought out the spare key from her bag and proceeded to open the door, but unfortunately, it didn't open. Furiously, she dipped her hand on her bag and brought out her phone. 

“Babe, where are you?” She moaned slowly, over the phone. “Why's the door locked from inside? She is grumpy like a baby. 

Ronan, her lover, didn't respond to her. He only made a humming sound and ended the call. 

In the next two minutes, Gianna heard the sounds of the door, it seemed like he was already there. And in the next seconds, the door was opened. 

The furious Gianna didn't say a word but headed straight to his bedroom, pulled her shoes and lay on the bed. She was angry.

Gianna waited, hoping he would ask her what was wrong but nothing like that happened. He was ignoring her ass and that was pissing the fuck out of her. 

“ How are you doing?” Ronan asked, breaking the silence between them. 

“I'm good!” She lied. 

“But you don't seem like it!” Ronan disagreed, he knows her very well and he knows when she's pretending.

“But I'm trying. I will try my best!” Gianna knows there's no way she's listening to Ronan's words. 

He's damn fucking poor where she is. She's only with him because she loved him so much, not because of his money. 

Talking of class, Ronan is nowhere close to London, her Billionaire husband. She's only with Landon because of his money and nothing else. 

“Please don't ever bring that topic up again!” She warned him. Gianna proceeds to pull everything she was wearing until she was totally naked in front of him. 

“Your ass is so fucking soft!” Ronan groans, smacking her ass slowly as he caresses it.

“Landon's surrogate mother is back, and unfortunately, she has triplets for him. and now, she threatened to expose Luke's identity, she threatened to expose everything I did to her.” Gianna cried out like a baby. 

She had told Ranon, her baby father, about Avery, being their surrogate and everything and all the evil things she did. 

“Is that why you're crying?” Ranon question, simpleton at her. 

“Don't worry, Gianna, I will help you with this.” He assured her, letting out a devilish smile which made Gianna wonder what he was thinking. 

“What's your plan?” Ranon question.

“I don't know yet, I do plan to get rid of her, but I'm not really sure.” Gianna said. 

“I suggest we get rid of the triplets , that way, she will lose everything she had worked hard for even if she told Landon the truth, I'm sure he wouldn't believe her.” 

“Tell me, when do you want them dead? Today or tomorrow?” 

Gianna, who had been crying, suddenly burst into laughter. 

Now she loves this man. This is the man she should have been with in the first place.
