Maddox’s POV

I’ve been pacing my office for hours. Back and forth. Back and forth. The expensive rug beneath my boots was probably developing permanent damage at this point, but I honestly didn’t care. My contact wasn’t answering. Every call I made went unanswered, and the longer the silence dragged on, the more irritated I became.

Did they get caught? Did something happen to Darcy? Was he even planning on delivering her to me? The entire situation felt wrong. Very wrong.

I stopped beside t

Zayden’s POV I didn’t like how the conversation went, but I wasn’t going to push it. At least she heard me out. At least she listened. At least she said she was staying until the tournament ended. That alone felt like a victory compared to where we had been twenty-four hours ago. She said Alpha Harold wanted to watch the fights anyway and tomorrow was her birthday. She didn’t want to spend her birthday traveling across the country, and honestly, I couldn’t blame her. If she was going to leave, at least I had one more day. One more day to make things right. Or at least try. I already knew I couldn’t fix everything overnight. Trust didn’t work that way. I had broken something important, and whether she forgave me or not was entirely her choice. But I could still do something. I could make her birthday unforgettable. I could give her one hell of a day. The thought alone had me moving. I spent the rest of the evening making phone calls, arranging what I could, ordering a cake, coord

  • The Rise Of The Last White Wolf   What To Do?

Traci’s POV I took a deep breath and slowly sat up straighter on Raiden’s lap. The room felt strangely empty now that everyone had left. No Corbin pacing around and giving dramatic speeches. No Harold watching from the sidelines. No interruptions. Just us. Me. Raiden. Zayden. The conversation I had been dreading was finally here. My eyes lifted to Raiden first. The moment our gazes met, my heart sank. The sadness in his eyes was impossible to miss. The fear. The uncertainty. He was waiting for me to leave. Waiting for me to tell him this was over before it had even truly begun. Aurora sighed softly. “He’s expecting the worst.” I already knew. I could feel it through the bond. The hurt. The guilt. The heartbreak. Everything. I let out a slow breath. “I can’t reject you.” Both brothers immediately looked at me. “It’s useless. It won’t take.” My hand lifted and settled against Raiden’s cheek. His eyes closed briefly as he leaned into my touch before opening them again. “Hey,” I

  • The Rise Of The Last White Wolf   Dirty Laundry?

Raiden’s POV I looked up and instantly froze. Another sharp pain ripped through my chest, so sudden and intense that it stole my breath. I blinked several times, trying to get myself together, but there was simply too much happening all at once. The kiss she had given me. The knife coming out. My brother shooting a man in front of an arena full of guests. Then Traci asking me to hold her. Actually asking for it. “She’s not mad at us,” Nyx said quietly. My attention shifted toward him. “I was talking to Aurora. They know we got thrown into this mess. They actually feel guilty about what’s happening to us.” I wanted to believe him. Goddess, I wanted to. But right now it was too hard to. My eyes remained locked on Zayden standing in the doorway. He hadn’t moved. Hadn’t spoken. His eyes were completely fixed on Traci. Why now? Why couldn’t he have waited another hour? Another day? Another week? Anything but now. But the longer I looked at him, the harder it became to stay irrita

  • The Rise Of The Last White Wolf   Struggle

Traci’s POV I looked away from the balcony. Away from the man who had just saved my life. Everything had happened so fast that my mind was still struggling to catch up. One second I had Bull locked in my choke hold. The next he had been shot and was falling backward directly on top of me. “That idiot was heavy as hell,” Aurora huffed dramatically. “Zayden saved our life and that’s your concerned about?” I rolled my eyes. “Am I wrong?” She muttered something about me being impossible, and honestly, she wasn’t wrong. My thoughts kept circling back to the same thing. Zayden saved me. He saw the knife. He reacted before anyone else. He didn’t hesitate. The realization sat heavily in my chest as Roman helped clear the ring and security immediately flooded around us. Then suddenly Raiden was there, running straight toward me with fear written all over his face. His eyes were wide, his expression pale, and before I could even process it, he had dropped to one knee beside me and ge

  • The Rise Of The Last White Wolf   You’re Staying

Unknown POV I was sitting in my chair laughing my ass off. These people couldn’t be serious. Every single one of them kept looking up at the ceiling like the bullets had magically fallen from the ceiling. It was all I could do not to laugh harder. My shoulders shook as another chuckle escaped me. Beside me, Darcy shifted slightly before settling more comfortably in my lap. She had been watching the monitors just as closely as I had. “Shoot him in the foot.” Her voice was quiet. I looked down at her and raised a brow. “What did you say sweetheart?” I asked to make sure I heard her correctly. She crossed her arms over her chest. “He sold me off to Maddox.” The irritation in her voice was impossible to miss. “He deserves that much.” Another laugh escaped me. I looked toward my brother. “You heard her.” I pointed toward Darcy. “My girl said shoot his foot.” My brother snorted. A second later another shot rang out through the bunker. On one of the screens, Ralph instantly doubled

  • The Rise Of The Last White Wolf   Locked In

Ralph’s POV Damn that fucking guy. I waited for him half of yesterday. Half the damn day. Six hours. Six whole hours before he finally bothered calling me back, only to casually tell me that something had come up. I still couldn’t believe the nerve of that man. He insisted I go with his crew to talk to my daughter. He acted like it was urgent, like the world would end if I didn’t leave immediately. Then he stood me up. What kind of man does that? A liar. That’s what he is. Then, just when I finally stopped waiting around, he called again an hour ago and informed me his men were already on their way. I got no warning. No preparation time. Nothing. Just another order. Now here we were standing at the entrance to this damn bunker. “Cover your ears, guys,” one of Maddox’s men said as he stepped onto a stone near a group of other stones. “Boss said there’s an alarm when the hatch opens.” The ground shifted beneath our feet. A hidden hatch slowly rose upward. I immediately clamped bot
