"The woman you asked me to monitor?" He said with an anxiety tone. I just stared blankly at him and let him continue at his own pace.

I could feel that Lucas was afraid about what he wanted to say, his heart was beating faster that normal and I could feel it, even I couldn't control my heart beating louder and faster than normal.

"The young woman, you asked me to monitor, Darla, I don't know if she's dead or she fainted" He said in one go and gulped down hastily.

It looked like my heart that was beating fast previously stopped beating and it seems like my whole life was useless and dead.

I felt the whole reason was alive was gone, "so what was the reason I was alive then?" I was beginning to ask myself why I was still alive.

I noticed a figure was still staring at me with boring eyes, so I looked up and still met Lucas standing in front of me, with solid eyes, I could guess that he probably waiting for some explanation and I wasn't ready to give anyone any sort of explanation.
