"You're talking crazy." I snapped beginning to stand. "I don't want to join any pack let alone yours."
"Marissa, as my mate you should follow me." Travis said as if it was the most natural thing there was. "Otherwise do you expect me to join your pack?"
"I'm not part of a pack." I pointed out.
Travis and I had only known each other for four days so of course he wouldn't be aware of the fact I had yet to join a pack. Hell, he wouldn't even be aware of the fact I had absolutely no intention of joining one EVER.
"How can you not be part of a pack?" Travis asked eyes widening. "You should be well aware of what happens to a wolf that doesn't become part of a pack."
"What proof do you have that it is true that happens?" I demanded. "Do you personally know someone who knows someone? Or know someone yourself? Hmmm?"
"No, but still you have to be crazy to even consider not joining a pack." Travis said staring at me
