By the time I arrived at school most of my fellow classmates were already there going about their normal morning routines. Their laughter and chattering grated on my nerves as I made my way through their clusters and headed into the building.
Travis had kept me up for most of the night even though he was well aware that I had classes the following day, leaving me absolutely exhausted.
Annoyed and wanting nothing more than to go back to sleep I went in the direction of my first class of the day, if I was in luck Travis would be there already and I could rip him to shreds, that's to say if no one had arrived early.
Soft giggles and whispers greeted me when I arrived, stepping in I spotted Travis sitting at his desk looking through some papers as two of my classmates whose names I just couldn't remember leaned over flirting with him.
Smirking I made my way forward. I was already angry that he had left me in this state and now seeing him all
I attempted to sneak out after class only to be stopped by Travis who was waiting outside of the door. Reaching out he grabbed hold of my arm stopping me mid step. Amanda who had been walking beside me stopped long enough to smirk before hurrying along her way."Can I help you?" I asked as more students took us in with curious gazes. "I have to get to my next class.""I need you to come to my office before you leave today." Travis said ignoring my glare completely."Why would I do that?" I demanded trying to break free of Travis' grip. "If it doesn't involve anything classwork related then there is no reason.""What if I say if you don't I will let your parents know exactly what has already happened between us?" Travis asked eyes glinting mischeviously."You wouldn't." I growled, was this man insane?"Your choice to take the chance." Travis said finally releasing me. "See you later!"Waving he turned and
"Travis....YES....TRAVIS!" I couldn't stop my screams of pleasure as Travis slammed into me again and again leaving me crazy. "JUST LIKE THAT....OH GOD!"Convulsions overtook me as I dug my nail's into Travis' back. Even though he had already brought me to climax multiple times he still went strong, the man was absolutely insatiable."Scream my name some more baby." Travis growled grabbing my hips and slamming hard as he finally found his release.Panting I closed my eyes trying to figure out why exactly we were even in this position. As I tried to figure it out an annoying beeping began to sound. Confused about what it was I sat up looking around as the room around me began to melt away taking the bed beneath me and the man beside me with it until my eyes were flying open to find myself alone in bed. Beside me the alarm on my phone was blaring announcing it was time to get up.Letting out a huff I threw the blanket off of my
I spent the next few days deliberating on whether or not I wanted to attend my sister's welcome home party, and by the day of I couldn't stop myself from agreeing to go. It hadn't helped that Amanda had harassed me a good bit about going and of course Travis, who my parents had invited wouldn't let me forget about the whole thing either.Standing in front of the lit up house I squinted wondering exactly why i had even come here. Music could be heard blaring within and I could make out multiple party goers passing by the windows with drinks in hand, it seemed that the party was already raging."Lets go." Travis said as he took my hand.Even though I had insisted on coming by myself Travis had ambushed me outside of my hotel room and had followed me the whole way here."Who said you could touch me?" I asked looking down at our entwined hands. "Remove it.""No can do." Travis said tightening his grip. "You are my date this even
"Did you miss me?" Alpha Gregory asked smiling brightly. "I was beginning to think you skipped town.""I should have." I said trying to stop the chills that continued to wrack my body by simply being face to face with my families pack Alpha. "That way I wouldn't have had to see you.""Oh come on now," Gregory pouted pretending to be hurt. "You know that I've always been thinking about you."Gagging I turned away covering my mouth. How the hell was he able to speak like that without blinking an eye?"Sorry, but I need to get going." I tried unable to stand being around him anymore."Wait..." Reaching out a hand Gregory grabbed my arm sending a shock through me.Trying to jerk away I bumped into a girl I vaguely remembered earning myself a growl before she turned and stormed off completely ignoring the situation I was in. Granted, what else did I expect? This was her alpha after all."You can stop wit
"What are you trying to hide?" Travis asked continuing to push. Not responding I grabbed Travis' head pulling it towards mine as my lips found his. If he wanted to use his mouth so much I was going to give him something to use it on. Currently I wasn't in the mood for talking about my past and I needed a distraction. Pulling away Travis fixed his darkened eyes on me as he studied my face, what he was looking for I didn't know. "What?" I asked breathing heavily, that kiss earlier had literally taken my breath away. "Something on my face?" "Is it really that bad that you're willing to distract me in that way?" Travis asked. "Are you actually complaining?" I demanded eyes wide. "Usually you can't keep your hands off me and the minute I initiate it is an issue." "Under any other circumstances I'd be all for it." Travis pointed out quirking a smile. "Right now though, not gonna happen." "Then get out."
Standing by the window I took a long drag on the cigarette I held between my fingers. Time had easily slipped by and the sun outside was beginning to rise, casting a redish pink glow across the world beyond. Street lights had begun to turn off meaning soon people would be flooding out and into the day.Behind me on the bed Travis slept soundly. Too exhausted once we had finished, I didn't bother kicking him out and just let him sleep over for one night, after all it wouldn't hurt anything anyways.I couldn't help but notice that I was becoming soft when it came to him, if I kept letting things like this happen... well... I wasn't going to let them.Finishing my cigarette I flicked it out the window before turning and heading towards the closet. I was still much too riled up to even think of sleeping, not to mention at this hour there was no point.Throwing on a sweatshirt and a pair of yoga pants I hastily put my hair u
"Marissa...."Uh oh, turning I met the infuriated gaze of Travis. How he had managed to find me so fast was beyond me, but I couldn't quite help feeling slightly impressed."Oh look who is here!" Simon beamed walking up to greet Travis only to be shoved to the side as Travis stormed forward."Imagine my surprise when I woke up and found the room around me completely empty." He said now eyes darkening. "Would it have killed you to let me know that you were going somewhere?"Feeling my irritation begin to rise I rolled my eyes. "Explain to me why I need to tell you my business?""Who is this guy?" Came Timothy's voice from behind me."I'd like to ask the same thing." Travis shot back growling. "Who are you and why are you near my mate?""Could you stop it." I glared at Travis. "I never agreed to being your mate and I'm getting really sick of you treating me like I'm your property.""By the will of th
As Travis remained silent I felt my curiosity beginning to grow. Even though I didn't know what he was getting at when he said I had forgotten something, I couldn't help but want to know what it was. The longer he stayed quiet the greater the urge to know grew until I could no longer stand it."Travis, what am I supposed to remember that I've forgotten?" I asked now drawing Travis' attention to me. "Could you please explain."Meeting my gaze once more Travis' eyes expressed some emotion I couldn't quite place my finger on. It was as if a million things flitted there before resolve took place."Are you just playing ignorant or have you truly forgotten?" Travis asked seeming not quite sure if I was being genuine with my questions.Huffing I tried to contain myself. "I'm truly curious what it is you're talking about, because I am baffled.""Twelve years ago by the river, you've truly forgotten?" Travis asked quietly as hi
