Alpha Jasper's POV

While Beta Jacob was busy hurrying down the pathway, I was trailing after him with my hands crossed behind me.

At this point, I wanted to stop him and ask what the matter really was but on the other hand, I just wanted to remain mute and watch him from a distance.

Moments later, I covered the distance between us and immediately I placed my hand on his shoulder, he swirled around in my direction, his eyes almost bulging out of their sockets.

He must have been so scared to have acted like this but that was the least of my concerns.

Grabbing his shoulder, I snapped, “What the hell is going on?” I asked, staring intently at him.

“Rumors? Is that why you called me, interrupting the discussion I was having with my Luna.” Smacking my lips, I squeezed his shoulder, digging my fingers into his shoulder until a warm liquid squirted out — his blood.
