Chapter 07

The figure pulled the hood back to reveal Drew. He pulled Penny into a hug.

Penny felt uncomfortable hugging Drew so she pushed him away slightly but he refused to let go completely.

“How did you find me?” Penny asked, concerned.

“You wouldn’t answer my calls. Had to come here because you love your volunteering.” Drew explained, quoting the last word with his fingers.

“What do you want, Drew?” Penny asked, ready to get it over with.

Drew grinned while holding her hand, “Come on, Babe. Still mad at me?”

Penny gave no response. “Hey, it was just that one time. You have to forgive me. I wanted you, Penny but you never cared give me what I want. Now, we can fix that.” Drew said.

“Drew. I don’t give a damn about what you want, okay? If you are done, get the hell out of here and never come back.” Penny retorted, feeling disgusted with his excuse.

“No, babe.” Drew refused with a shake of his head. “I held out for 3 years. You owe it to me.” His hold on her wrist tightened.
