CHAPTER TEN

ADRIAN’S POV

I had woken up in the early hours of the morning. I was in Germany for a business meeting. I had a busy and crazy schedule for the coming days.

I hopped out of the shower with water dripping down my body and a towel wrapped around my waist. My phone had been ringing for a while. I picked it up and saw six missed calls from an unknown number. It certainly wasn’t a mistake. I was about to call the number when another call from it came through.

I answered and the person on the other line was silent for a while. Maybe I was wrong, maybe it was a scammer calling me.

“Hello. Who is this?” I asked.

“Hello.” The voice said and I got flashbacks. I could remember the sound of that voice calling my name while we were in bed together. I tried so hard to forget the sound of her voice and here she was again. What did she want?
