Wails!
Rumble, rumble, rumble! It was the same ordinary day in Selitopian, until suddenly, a very threatening earthquake hit the land, bringing fear to the hearts of the people. Houses shook. Mansions shook. The dwelling places of the rulers also shook, threatening to collapse to the ground. People were screaming, and were trying to get to safety. The earthquake rendered even the most powerful helpless. Within the deepest room in the mansion of Gwafindol's ruler, the book of prophecy that had remained shut for years, opened. The blind seer's eyes opened, revealing a pair of white eyes as she stared in the direction of the large-sized book that was placed on a stone that was meters tall. She was sitting on a chair and her body never stopped shaking as concrete dust escaped from the ceiling and found its way to the floor. It was the earthquake's doing. The seer with white hair was in charge of guarding the book of prophecy that had shut itself for years, refusing to open. It was the instant the book of prophecy opened to the first page that the earthquake immediately seized. “Th- this can't be”. The seer pointed a finger at the book as she said. Her assistant, who had hidden under a table, looked around after the earthquake stopped. “Am I still alive?”. She asked herself and touched herself. “Oh my. I am still alive. What was that?”. She wondered. “Come and help me up, Ashley”. The seer said to her, and she quickly came out of her hiding place and went to help the seer. She had no idea that the book of prophecy had unlocked itself. It was when she saw it that she gasped in disbelief and let go of the seer, whom she was aiding to walk. “Yes, Ashley. The book of prophecy. Quick, lead me to it”. The seer hurried Ashley, who recovered from her state of shock. She led the seer to the book of prophecy and only stopped when they were standing in front of the stone. The seer began to read the first page of the book of prophecy that was written in a language that only the seers could read, “Ghiliponu duoipholem dreh”. It meant; ‘The child is here'. After reading the boldly written words on the first page of the book of prophecy, the seer tried to turn to the second page, but she wasn't able to. Irrespective of that, she was more than eager to share with the ruler of Gwafindol what had happened. “Ashley, lead me to the ruler's throne room”. “Alright. But what was the meaning of that weird language you spoke, Lady Seer?”. Ashley asked her. “Shush it, Ashley. Just do what I asked you to do and nothing else”. She ordered Ashley, who instantly shut her mouth with guilt. ‘Tsk. I should not have asked'. Ashley blamed herself as she felt embarrassed after being shushed. Carefully, she led the seer out of the cold room. For some reason, the room was always cold and gave Ashley chills. She didn't have a single clue that it was the book of prophecy's doings. Helena's pov, “Ah”. A groan escaped from my lips as I woke up. I felt a banging pain in my head. I initially swung my weak slow hand around and hit the air in response when I felt the pain in my head, because I honestly thought that someone was hitting my head with a hammer. My hands felt the ground, making me understand that I was lying on dry grass. Wait, what?! Dry grass?! I panicked and tried to open my eyes. It was frustrating. I was trying to open my eyes, but they would not budge. I have heard of stuff like this, but I have never experienced it myself. But now that I was experiencing something like this myself, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of spell was cast on me that made my own eyes betray me? It took me a while, before my eyes finally opened. I sat up on the grass as I looked around. I was in some sort of open field. “How the heck did I get here? No. That's not the question I should ask. What happened to me after I entered the temple?”. I muttered, because I seemed to have forgotten something very important. I could feel it.I jumped high as I leaped over an obstacle. After landing on my fours and drifting, I halted instantly. Slowly and steadily, I walked towards the fair skinned young lady who fell asleep under a Filovaria tree. After I stood in front of her, I knew without a single doubt in me that she was my mate, and that she was mine to claim. I returned to my human form and squatted in front of her, staring closely at her breathtaking face. Her small heart shaped lips. Her tiny snub nose. Her full eyelashes, and her long blue hair which glowed like the dark blue night sky. I could not sense her wolf side, so I knew that she was not a werewolf like myself. I found it very strange. If she was not a werewolf, then does that mean I would be the first ever werewolf whose mate was not a she-wolf? How did this happen? But irrespective of that, my urge to claim her never flinched, but rather, it became stronger. “Where have you been all my life?”. I muttered, before my hand reached out to touch he
I should not confuse myself. But I have come to the conclusion that the hidden village was once connected to Selitopian somehow. And that coffin that sucked me in… it was definitely a portal between Selitopian and the earth. Since there was a portal on earth that could make one teleport right into Selitopian, then there must certainly be another portal on Selitopian that leads someone directly to earth. I simply have to find it. And what better place to start searching for it if not at the very first place I found myself after I woke up in this world? I kept the bulletin aside as I enjoyed the view from under the tree. Selitopian looked similar to earth, but it was different in its own way. The air felt different, and the sky looked more blue. Also, it was now that I noticed how warm the sun was, or was it because I was sitting under this tree? But after arriving in not only a new environment but arriving in a whole new world all of a sudden, I felt the pressure. “Let me start s
“Be vigilant, Tanja. When our spies discover anything unusual in Gwafindol... make sure that everything is reported to me exactly”. “The other three kingdoms must have figured out that the earthquake might be connected to the child of the prophecy. So we must make sure that we get our hands on the little child first. Make sure not to fail me Tanja”. “Understood, Dragon king Seth”. Tanja replied to him, with his hand placed on his chest as he bowed a little. The subjects standing behind Tanja bowed their heads at Dragon King Seth too, before they were all excused from the Iciera throne room. After they left, someone came out of the shadows and appeared in front of Dragon King Seth. “Go to Gwafindol city and make sure not to fail me. The child of the prophecy must be my son's bride”. “I understand, my king”. He replied to dragon King Seth, before he disappeared the same way he had initially appeared. But the opposite. Helena's pov, I kept on walking. Walking. I was walking endl
Unknown narrator's pov, The kingdom of Silverious. The crystal buildings were being examined by ten official elves after the earthquake that took place many minutes ago. They were confirming if the earthquake had done any damage to any buildings. Within the crystal castle of the royal dragons with the purest noble blood, the dragon king was seated on his throne alongside his son, Skylar, who had long white hair. The king also had long white hair, and his own was much longer than Skylar's. Both son and father were wearing armor-like clothes that were shimmering, almost like the massive chandelier hung on the ceiling. “Father, I have told you for the very last time that I want to apply to study in Phanatanum. You once promised me that I could make decisions by myself if I became an adult. And today, I am 50 years old. I am now an adult”. “At least, I am now a young adult. You have to agree to my demands”. Skylar finished talking and kept on staring at his father, who was massagi
“We should not simply search the entire city for newly born babies, brother. How are we going to tell which one is the child if we search for her in that way? That's stupid. What if we get the wrong baby and think she is the child of the prophecy?”. Leon, the second son of the ruler, said to Jay, and I wouldn't hide it. He was right. I was so blinded by my feelings for the first son, Jay, that I didn't notice that his strategy had a lot of plot holes inside them.“Then what do you suggest we do? Do you expect us to sit down and do nothing?”. Jay asked him and sounded annoyed. Or was I the only one who noticed it?Rather than replying to Jay, Leon stood up from his throne, making me naturally become curious. I wanted to see what he was about to do. He stepped down from the golden and red carpeted stairs which led to the thrones, and he walked towards lady Katherine and me. My breathing hastened, and I tried the best I could to avoid eye contact with Leon or any members of the chosen
“You can have your seat, Lady Katherine and her assistant”. The ruler said to us, and I helped the seer to sit down, before I sat down beside her. I told you. I was low in status. My name wasn't even known by the chosen family, but it was labeled as the seer's assistant. How can someone like me ever dream of being involved with someone as magnificent as the ruler's first son? How could I ever dream of being a family to the chosen family of Gwafindol? I must be a daydreamer. But I thought it was only the ruler that the lady seer wanted to see? Then why did his whole family decide to come with him to the throne room? “Feel free to talk before me, Lady Katherine. It was reported to me that you have something important to discuss with me concerning the book of prophecy you have been guarding this whole time”. The ruler said to the lady seer, Katherine. Most of the time of their discussion, I made sure to lower my gaze to the floor, because of the way noble lady Gemma, who was wea
