“Everything this time has been you.” I denied hurt, feeling a knot in her chest.

“My intentions were to be free, not to hurt you.”

"Be free?" I spat as rage took over me, I laughed suffering and accepting the truth, “Look at my room, you knew what mom has sacrificed to live in comfort… And that didn't stop you from destroying it. Tell me, did you have fun tearing up our photo album?”

He denied regretfully.

“I'll fix it.” he promised pleadingly.

“I wish you could do that with our friendship.”

“Rose, I'm your friend.”

"Ages." I corrected and my own voice burned.

“I never meant to hurt you.”

“It's ironic that you say that when you've already destroyed half my life.”

"Forgive me."

“Just because of that word, mistakes are made, you never told me the truth and you thought you would solve it; your lack of sincerity, my trust and our friendship; with a big Forgive me. “It’s insulting.” I hiccupped to swallow back a sob.

“Please put yourself in my shoes, I didn't want to put myself in danger,
