Chapter Twenty-One: Heart-to-Heart
Imogen's stomach was full of butterflies as she entered Bon Sejour.
Kieran had called her earlier that afternoon to ask her out to dinner. She immediately canceled her last meeting to accomodate his request and went home to get ready.
Her skirt suit and heels were replaced with a lovely lavender A-line dress and wedge heels. She did her hair in a half-up and half-down style so her bangs and some tendrils of hair framed her oval face. She also swiped on a deeper shade of pink on her lips but kept her makeup as simple as possible.
Although she was surprised that he was asking her out on a Monday, she didn't ask. She wanted to talk to him too.
