LOGINTOM"I, soon to be alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, swear to always pick the wolves over the witches any day it comes down to choice.""I, soon to be alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, swear to never use my witch powers on any member, only in cases where the pack member has agreed to it. And when in war or rogue attacks, I'd use my powers in protecting the pack.""Owen, whom the pack trusts and familiar with, is allowed to come by, if in any case, his help is needed. No other full witch is allowed.""Finally, I pledge to always be faithful to my wolf side. Always and forever."I finally put down my left hand and dropped the paper on the table. The pack had finally accepted my double identity all thanks to Lily and Nathan. And they came up with pledges that I wasted no time in agreeing with. Anything to put their mind to rest. But of course, not everyone is happy. I smirked lazily at the three pairs of eyes who glared at me. I heard from Lily and Nathan that they had been desperately trying
BLAKEIt's been two days since I had that nightmare. And ever since then, my sleeping habit has become even worse. I couldn't sleep at all. I was afraid that if I closed my eyes for a second too long, I would hear that strange voice in Ava's body. And the effect of that has begun to show. I could barely keep my eyes open and any little sound would throw me off. The raging headache that has been stuck with me made things extra unbearable. Knocks that had sounded at different times of the day didn't help my situation. But I didn't move, didn't even make an attempt to. I didn't want to let anyone in. And when the person refused to go, I'd put pillows around my ears to silence the loud knocks. I was miserable.I was currently in the living room and laying quietly on the couch as I tried to filter out my thoughts. My eyes instinctively went to the door when I heard a single knock. It wasn't faint, just one loud enough to tell me someone was at the opposite side and the person wanted to b
BLAKEThe nightmare this time was different.Instead of the darkness with a lot of whispers around me, I found myself in the woods. The same place my mother had died. But unlike the chaos I witnessed that day, this one was quiet. Too quiet that the only sound was the quick beats of my heart. The trees stood unnaturally still, no wind moving through their branches, no rustle of leaves, as if the entire forest was holding its breath along with me.I stood in a spot, afraid of taking even a step, afraid that any loud movements would bring back the whispers. But I didn't need to do that because Ava suddenly appeared, her hands folded, leaning on a tree as she lazily smirked at me.I took a step back, my fist curling beside me, waiting for what she might do next. She stood up straight, walking slowly towards me, the smirk replaced by a grin as she said, "Come on, are you still afraid?"I froze. That voice. It didn't belong to Ava."I silenced the whispers and brought you out here and you'r
TOMI picked up a stone and threw it into a bush, before picking another and doing the same. I was waiting near the path I knew schoolers took when they're going back home. I didn't want them to see me so I just hid a few distance away from the path. I wasn't familiar with Pete's schedule so I just waited, hoping he was going to pass soon. As they passed, I noticed some wrinkled noses, probably smelling me but couldn't see me. Just then, I saw Pete coming, no, limping a little. He had his bag swung on one shoulder while a canvas was held on his other side. His face was stained with bruises that I hadn't seen on him the other day. It reminded me of Blake.I came out of my spot, making some teens glanced my way, hushed voices filling the air. As soon as Pete sighted me, his eyes widened as he halted. I folded my arms as I got closer, "Why do you look surprised? I told you we would meet again.""I don't think you did?" He said hesitantly.I thought for a moment, "maybe you're right. B
TOM The day had just gone by in half. My mind kept drifting back to the same unanswered questions, that the more I thought about them, the more my legs moved to the person who'd have the answers. I made my way to Blake's flat, but this time, it wasn't to see him. Of course I'd stop by but that's not where I'm heading first. I'm going to see Pete and possibly meet his brother. Though Malfada hasn't told me anything about how they were able to hide their powers from everyone, I wanted to do something on my part. And that was questioning them till they let something slip. I don't know about Pete's brother but I'm hoping Pete will give me what I want. And possibly, more. As I got to their floor, I stared at the six doors, wondering which of them was Corey's. Since I already know Blake's door is the third one, I can guess it'll be the first two.... I'd find that out later. I walked down to the last unit, placing three sharp knocks on the door. I heard shuffling from the other side
TOM Immediately I came home was when I felt it in me that something was wrong. Opening the door to Blake's room proved it right. I should've calculated that Blake would leave while I was away and according to my dad, Blake left with Pete hours ago. And right now, I did what anyone in love would do. I was on my way, 10:45pm to see Blake. The pack grounds were quiet now, save for the ones who just relaxed at the front of their houses. As I walked there, I was already preparing what I would say but none sounded like what Blake would want to hear. Forget that, I'll be lucky if I even get to see him. I'm very sure he wouldn't want to but I needed to see him. I wanted to be sure where he stayed was safe. And also who lived around. I got to the unit, and noticed the first three floors had the lights switched off which meant nobody lived there. The last three had their lights on, and according to the address of Pete, the last floor was where I was going to. As I made my way upstairs, I jus
