The night pressed on, and Mav stayed by her side. She was nothing but smiles the entire night. A simple birthday cake seemed more than she had ever had before. She was as bright as the moon itself. Throughout the night, she seemed happier than he had ever seen her.

The phone's call never stopped. The video chats never stopped. There were text messages to start every day for both of them. Though they both had long hours and the time seemed to fly by. Later that night, when the entire complex was quiet. The next two months flew by. Maverick surprised her every day with something.
