Chapter Fourteen

1 Month Later

Since the incident, we both had really started connecting. I think we both finally came to an understanding to the point where we can talk about things. I hadn’t talked to Jack and it was strange because it didn’t bother me like it once had. I was happy and content with learning about my mate on a personal level. However, he still refused to talk about anything personal with him. All he wanted was for me to talk about myself. I hated it. I wasn’t pushing it but it was something that needed to be done eventually so I can know about him. We all have demons that are so far deep that I couldn’t push him any more than he wanted. My face was finally almost healed. I still had some bruises under my eyes, but they were not so bad. I have been joining him for early morning PT just to show support for everyone. I have warmed up to this pack as they earned respect for me.
