Chapter 20 - Jude Ashford
Jude POV
I can’t sleep tonight. My mind is in overdrive and I have too much to think about. The way Bonnie is treating me and how she was reacting to her fiancé? She really doesn’t love him and I need to show her that. I decided to focus on finding a good P.I. in London. I might need my brothers to help me with that. I want to find out everything about him.
I send a quick email to my P.I. in New York for him to find out every little secret from that guy; I want to know what time he goes to the bathroom for a shit in the morning, that’s the kind of detail I want investigating. I ask him for recommendations from people in London in case he knows anyone.
The dinner last night was tedious and today we have the first book signing in central London. Meredith knows I won’t be at the signing, because I have a few Zoom meetings and I need to deal with them. But even with what is happening at home with Fred, all I can think about is Bonnie.<

Bonnie POVI look at my reflection in the mirror, and I smile. Peter arranged for a lady to come get my hair and makeup done in our suite. I can’t complain after a great massage and facial, this is all I need, someone getting my long hair looking good for the red carpet.“Sorry I am late,” Peter says as he walks back into the suite and stops watching me while the lady does the last touch-ups to my hair.“Oh, you look beautiful,” he says as he walks to me and stands next to me. Jude POV“Excuse me,” Meredith says as she stands up and walks out. I am not going to chase her. She is a grown woman and I am not her babysitter. I keep watching the movie that let's face it. Bonnie POV“Come, you need to rest,” Peter says as he opens the suite’s door and we step inside. I have six stitches on my left cheek. Jude POVI couldn’t believe my ears when the reception guy told me that Bonnie wanted to talk to me. The way she looked at me when she got out of that elevator broke my heart.
