Chapter 19 - Bonnie Walton
Bonnie POV
“May I join you?” Jude asks and I raise my head to look at him as my heart flips around like I am a teenage girl.
“No,” I let out, looking back down at the menu. As if he didn’t hear me, Jude pulls the chair and sits in front of me. I keep my eyes on the menu, trying to avoid him.
“Mrs. Styles, should I add another set to your table?” The waitress asks as she approaches me and I look at her, smiling.
“No, that won’t be necessary. The gentleman was just about to leave,” I say, but Jude’s eyes stay locked on mine.
“I will have dinner here,” he says to the waitress, that looks extremely uncomfortable not knowing what to do. I smile as I stand up and Jude stands with me.
“In that case, can you please have the Beef Wellington delivered to my room?” I say and the waitress nods with a really awkward smile.

Bonnie POVI watch Jude leave, and my heart shrinks a few times. I help Peter to the bathroom. He is drunk and unstable on his feet right now. Bonnie POV“How about we go out for breakfast,” Peter says as I finish applying a small amount of lipstick.“Sounds good to me,” I say, and he smiles, wrapping his arm around my waist and kissing my exposed shoulder.“I like when you walk around naked,” he says, and I smile as he moves his hand over my ass slightly. Bonnie POVI look at my reflection in the mirror, and I smile. Peter arranged for a lady to come get my hair and makeup done in our suite. I can’t complain after a great massage and facial, this is all I need, someone getting my long hair looking good for the red carpet.“Sorry I am late,” Peter says as he walks back into the suite and stops watching me while the lady does the last touch-ups to my hair.“Oh, you look beautiful,” he says as he walks to me and stands next to me. His eyes locked on me and I smile. I have to say I can’t stop thinking about everything that Jude told me today, but is it the right time to ask him about everything now? Is Jude trying to create problems between us?“I’ll go have a quick shower. It was very dusty at the hotel,” he says and I nod as I watch him walk towards the bathroom. Jude POV“Excuse me,” Meredith says as she stands up and walks out. I am not going to chase her. She is a grown woman and I am not her babysitter. I keep watching the movie that let's face it. Bonnie POV“Come, you need to rest,” Peter says as he opens the suite’s door and we step inside. I have six stitches on my left cheek. I feel drained, feels like I have been awake for days, but it hasn’t even been twenty-four hours since I woke up.“I’ll help you out of the dress,” Peter says as I take his jacket off and he helps me to undress. My face now hurts and even talking is painful. I walk to the bed and climb up without even putting pajamas on. Jude POVI couldn’t believe my ears when the reception guy told me that Bonnie wanted to talk to me. The way she looked at me when she got out of that elevator broke my heart.
