STORY 32A: CURSED WATERS (PART 1)

Some of the most memorable stories I have collected through the years involved local rivers and seasides. Not altogether surprising since waters have histories of pagan worship and animism. Also,practices to the worship of animals, trees, rocks, fye or even spirits of the deceased are usually connected to bodes of water.

As a matter of fact, history is full of stories about offerings of food, belongings, and even lives to those “gods”, and many of these deified faye beings that are connected to our rivers and seas.
