Zaya POV

Luna Ariel was not exaggerating when she said that we had a lot to do. Godric and I met with her the next morning to discuss everything we should have done the moment I was pregnant.

“I remember being pregnant with Godric like it was yesterday. His father laid out all the bells and whistles for me.” She said aloud.

Godric let out a sigh. “Mother, please. Just tell us what we need to do.” I assume his frustration had less to do with her rambling and a lot more to do with how bad he felt about his lack of whistles.

She huffed. “There really should be an Elder hear for this. If for no other reason than ensuring I don’t miss anything.”

This was the moment he would tell her that I asked to sit with his mother first before meeting with the Elders. I insisted on having my first real pregnancy conversation with her before having it with anyone else. It just felt right.
