Chapter 11 A Little Hungry

Mia was both happy and scared. She was happy that her teacher was coming to Copper City, but she was scared because her classmates had all died.

After sending over the coordinates, Mia noticed that Lucas was watching her.

“Sir, my teacher is coming to find me at once.”

“That doesn’t have anything to do with me.”

Lucas did not care about these things. If Mia’s teacher came looking for her, taking her back was good too.

He only wanted Mia to show him the way anyway. Since they had already arrived in East District now, Mia had become more or less a burden.

Awoo! Awoo!

Just then, Lucas heard the calls of the zombies.

He was instantly invigorated. There were at least a hundred zombies rushing over.

Lucas smiled. There were so many zombies when he had just entered the East District. There should be more zombies the further he walked in.

Soon, Lucas let out the other few zombies in the System Space.

He now had Biggy and one each of male Level 7, 6, 5, and 4 Zombies.

He had one each of female Level 8, 6, 5, 4, and 2 zombies.

This line-up was enough to run rampant in the East District.

However, Lucas was not arrogant. He knew that the current him was still too weak. He still had too many zombies.

In this apocalypse, strong humans each had great power, families, and organizations.

There was also the existence of a legendary Rank 10 among zombies—the true king of corpses.

It was also said that there were forces. It was they who had caused the breakout of the zombie virus and the befalling of the apocalypse.

Compared to these forces at the moment, he was just a pitiful ant.

However, Lucas would not take long to let them know that ants could sometimes become the main character too.

Lucas made Biggy and the male and female zombies guard the surroundings, killing every zombie as each approached.

Awoo! Awoo!

About a hundred zombies had already flooded over.

Biggy and the male and female zombies had started taking action. Like that time on the tree, Lucas fused zombies as long as they keeled over.

The virtual finger in Lucas’s mind moved over the grid nonstop, its speed unbelievable.

He fused thirty male Level 2 Zombies in total and twenty-two female Level 2 Zombies.

He fused thirty male Level 2 Zombies into a male Level 7 zombie.

Then he continued fusing!

Originally, aside from Biggy, he had one each of male Level 7, 6, 5, and 4 Zombies.

Fusing two male Level 7 Zombies together, a male Level 8 Zombie was born.

Lucas thought to quickly fuse this male Level 8 Zombie into a Rank 1 Zombie and then fuse it with Biggy. This way, Biggy would become even stronger.

Then Lucas fused the twenty-two female Level 2 Zombies to become a female Level 6, 5, and 4 Zombie.

He originally had one each of Level 8, 6, 5, 4, and 2 Zombies.

After fusing the female zombies of the same levels, he now had one each of female Level 8, 7, 6, 5, and 2 Zombies.

Lucas thought that this female zombie’s progress was too slow, but it did not matter. After all, he still had not found the kind of zombie that had been turned from an Awakened One at the moment.

It was best if it was that kind of female zombie who retained its pre-death abilities!

“This…”

Mia’s eyes widened as she stared at Lucas, stunned.

She currently had no words to describe her shock.

She had never even heard of something like this before let alone seen it.

“I’m a little hungry now.”

Lucas pursed his lips. He looked at Mia and said, “Let’s find a place to eat something.”

“I can’t. If I go, my master won’t be able to find me,” Mia hastily said as she returned to her sense.

“That doohickey of yours can send your location, can’t it? When the time comes, wouldn’t the matter be settled once you send a new location to your master?”

After saying this, Lucas looked at her surroundings, then turned and entered a hotel that looked not bad.
