Emma skipped out the back door, letting the cool air wash over her skin. The moon hung heavy in the sky, casting a silver light over the vast grounds. The star was massive, stretching endlessly into the forest. But something felt off tonight.

The moon came out how it was supposed to, but something about how Emma felt, felt so different. She couldn’t help but think something was wrong.

She inhaled slowly, rubbing her arms.

She had come out here to clear her head. To escape from the suffocating feeling that’d refused to let go of her thoughts.

Her gaze skimmed around the environment, and then suddenly she froze, recognizing a figure that stood behind the window that was near to where she was standing. The figure peeped inside.

Her heart slammed against her rubs. She blinked, stumbling back, her breath caught in her throat.

And then, just like it appeared, the figure was gone.

The space in which she had seen the figure was empty, as if no one had ever been there.

  • The Twin Alphas' Omega Mate    Chapter 129

Chapter 129Emma let out a deep shuddering breath and stood still looking at the Alpha and Luna kneeling in front of her. She didn't know what to make of this behavior. Why would an Alpha and his Luna come and kneel, pleading for her help?It looked strange yet worrisome. She didn't know what to say but slowly opened her mouth, ensuring her voice came out calm and firm lest they notice the fear. She decided to ask the first normal questions expected of her in this situation.“Who are you?” she questioned. “And where are you really from? And why would you need my help?”The Alpha raised his head a little but didn’t stand. “I am Alpha Marro of the Southside Moon Pack. This is my mate, Luna Freya.”Emma kept her eyes on them wondering where all this would head and end. Jack and Tyler stood behind her, their hands on their sword in the sheath on their waist as their eyes stayed glued on the two royalty in front of her. “You said you came to ask for my help. What kind of help?”Alpha Marro

  • The Twin Alphas' Omega Mate    Chapter 128

Chapter 128Deep down in the dark dungeons, Kale and Jayden sat in silence. The chains on their hands made it hard to move. The floor was wet. The air was so cold that they found it very difficult to breathe. They had been there for days now after the last incident with the Faes and everything. No one came to check on them. No food unless Tyler remembered. No water unless someone tossed it at them like they were animals.Kale leaned his head on the wall. “How long do you think we’ll stay here?” he asked. His facial expression said it all that he was becoming tired of the treatment melted out to them. For one reason they hadn't expected to be this way and they had expected to be tested this way too. They knew their appearance to Emma would trigger a lot of horrible memories they had caused to her. They weren't prepared to be punished this way but they felt they deserved it. This wasn't compared to the ones they had melted to her.Jayden didn’t answer, he just kept staring at the stone

  • The Twin Alphas' Omega Mate    Chapter 127

Chapter 127Emma stood in the middle of the vast land, hands shaking, surrounded by Tyler and her people who had survived the battle, her eyes moving from Kale to Jayden, then to Tyler. Her heart beat fast, her hands hanging by her sides, her thoughts were heavy after what Tyler said and they were all over the place. Her breath came slow as she kept looking from Jayden to kale, then to Tyler again. She didn’t know what to feel anymore. Everything felt like fire and ice inside her. Everything felt too much to bear and it was too loud and confusing.Tyler pointed at the twins with a sharp finger. You let them in, Emma. You let them walk right in. Do you even remember what they did to you? Are you forgetting it already? Did you seriously forget what they did to you because I haven't. I remember everything. And now don't tell me you want to welcome them into our pack?” he said, stepping closer.Emma flinched at his words but he paid no attention to it. He didn't even care about her reacti

  • The Twin Alphas' Omega Mate    Chapter 126

Chapter 126Emma stood still. Her body didn’t dare move after she heard the intensity of the leader's voice. Her eyes stayed on the knife still pressed to Shawn’s small chest as if by watching it would make the leader change his mind and not slide the knife on her son's throat.Various thoughts ran through her mind as she thought of things she could tell the leader to make him change his mind on killing her son.The Fae leader raised his head up and stared at her, his voice was like a cold wind. “You think you matter, Emma? Your people? Your tribe? Your son? You think I care about them? Or who and what you're?” he said.Emma clenched her jaw but said nothing. He was trying to ridicule her, to make her act rashly so he could use it as an excuse to take her son's life but she knew better than to do that. Whatever game he was trying to play she would stomach it, accept his insult and make sure she leaves here with her son alive. He kept talking, ignoring the look she was giving him. “The

  • The Twin Alphas' Omega Mate    Chapter 125

Chapter 125As soon as she said that, Emma saw the features of the warrior fae woman and the queen turned to fear. Her heart dropped as she thought about what she was going to do. The three Faes were not going to make the path to going after the cloaked figure easy for her. And she knew she was no match in fighting the three of them off that quickly and with their stance, it wouldn't be that easy for her. She opened her mouth and screamed, “He’s taking my son! Stop him!”Her voice echoed over the field. The three fae turned around in surprise as if to check if anyone of her people heard her. She took it as her chance, then she grabbed her sword tighter, turned around, and slammed the woman beside her to the ground with all her strength. The woman groaned and rolled to the side catching the fae queen and the leader and they all stumbled to the floor. Emma didn’t look back. She tried to run. Her feet moved fast. Her heart raced. But the enemies kept coming. Fae soldiers blocked her p

  • The Twin Alphas' Omega Mate    Chapter 124

Chapter 124Emma's leg seems frozen. The moment Emma saw the twins, her eyes widened. It wasn't like her coming face to contact with the twins was inevitable. She knew she would have to meet the twins one way or the other after Damien informed her about them. But she wasn't expecting to see them in the position they were in. She wasn't even expecting them now at their crucial time when she needed her senses together. She did not expect them. Her sword lowered a little as her hands trembled.“Jayden?” she whispered, not sure if she was dreaming.“Kale?" She called their names again, blinking continually to be sure she was seeing right. Her heart stopped for a second, and that pause was enough. It was what the fae needed to attack. She lost her balance, and the blade in her hand trembled. The Fae warriors had moved in quickly, their steps sharp, their attacks quick.Jayden's eyes widened in panic, and she stretched his hand out. “Emma, get back!” he shouted. But it was too late. The Fae
