Chapter Twenty-Six: Emma's POV

Shit, I almost got caught by that silly woman. I wiped the sweat that was on my forehead and walked into the kitchen.

“Good morning, Father.” I greeted and Alpha Leonard looked over at me.

“Good morning, my dearest. How are you today? Are you sure it's okay for you to go about? The doctor hasn’t cleared you yet.” He said, worry plastered all over his face.

“Yes, yes. I am still in a bit of pain, and when the doctor comes later on, I will talk to him. But you know me, I hate sitting in bed. It's annoying.” I replied and he nodded.

“Well then. Since the doctor will be coming in to check you, I have no issue with you being away from bed. But you need to take care of yourself.”

“Very well. I will do as you say Father.” I answered and sat at the table, biting my finger in anxiety.

That smart ass witch. How did she figure out that I might have known where she lived? Fuck.

If she told Dylan and Daniel about this, I would be in serious trouble. I ran my hand through my hair.

“Are you alrigh
