The car came to a halt and we got out together. Brian grabbed my hand as we headed for the huge building in front of us.

It was beautiful but some side of it was still getting painted.

"You're renovating?" I asked and he nodded, smile curving his lips.

"Still observative." He said. "Even in the dark."

"Guess you married a big shot then." I said.

HE slcoffed, rolling his eyes as we into the building.

Men were stationed everywhere. Men in suit and guns.

I scrunched my nose. The place was smelling of cigarettes.

"Guess, everyone around here smokes to death." I shook my head.

"Where we grew up sweetie." He said and pulled me to another hallway, different from the one we had just passed. "Everyone smoked. Mother smoked, Father smoked. Teachers smoked and we the children had to smoke. It was a normal thing for us, while it's more like a taboo for you Americans. Pathetic little things." He said.

"Rubbish." I mumbled. "But I don't see you smoke."

"I quitted." He said.
